1) They are the 5th team in NFL history to score 44+ points in 3 straight games. (dating back to week 18 last season)
2) They are the 3rd team since the 1970 merger to score 91+ points in their first 2 games of the season. The other 2 teams won the Super Bowl. (2009 Saints, 1971 Cowboys)
3) They snapped the Cowboys 16 game regular season home winning streak with their 44-19 victory last week.
4) Derek Carr can become the 5th QB in history to have 5 consecutive games with 2+ TDs, and a passer rating over 100 in each game. He would join Mahomes, Brady, Rodgers, and Manning.
5) In his last 7 games, Derek Carr has 19 TD and 3 INT.
5) The Saints have scored on every 1st half drive this season. (8 TD and 3 FG)
6) The Saints scored on their first 15 drives of the season. No team has done this since 1978.
7) The Saints are not all offense. Their defense is ranked 4th in points allowed, 7th in yards allowed, 4th in Yards per Play.
The Saints are a max bet for me. About 4 or 5 times each season, I'll see a game that I like this much. The Eagles defense will not slow the Saints down. The Saints are the best team in the NFL right now. Carr has experience against Vic Fangio led defenses. As QB for the Raiders, Carr had a 5-1 record against Denver when Fangio was their DC. He had a 68.9 completion percentage against them. The Saints are clicking on all cylinders.
The Eagles are 32nd in Opponents Yards per Rush. The Saints have rushed for 180, and 190 yards in their first two games. This takes a lot of pressure of of Carr. Carr is at his best when he is not asked to carry the whole team on his shoulders. He'll get plenty of help from his defense and the Saints running game.
This is going to be a blowout.
Thanks for reading, and good luck!

I am well aware of that Dak threw two picks and the Cowboys are over rated as usual I have been a fan since 1978 so I am not biased here I am being objective

I am frankly shocked the line is this low although 37% of the so called TV + big website "experts" are picking the Eagles S/U.
Also the Eagles best rec. AJ Brown will not play again + the Saints get back their crackerjack corner Latimore for this game who will probably travel with Philly's only real receiving threat in D. Smith along with philly's fine safety + former Saint CJ Gardiner Q. for this game although i expect him to give it a go but at what effectiveness vs his old team.
To this point so far in 2024 this is head + shoulders my fav. pick of the season + will be hard pressed to find another this juicy all season.
Philly could be the most overrated team in the NFL that i thought before the season started anyway+ Obviously the Saints are probably the most underrated one.
12.5 points would not be enough for me to take Philly here....22.5 and i would but not be overly confident.
Saints 37-17.....it might not be that close.

Thanks for the replies. I really think this is a strong bet. I know it is early in the season, but I pounded this game hard! I've had a lot of success betting against the Eagles. I believe they are overrated, and the Saints are underrated. We will see. Good Luck!

Saints offense was bad vs Eagles and let them down losing 15-12 after the Saints offense being really good the first two weeks vs Carolina and at Dallas.
