EX OREGON DUCKS QB DENNIS DIXON IS PREPARING THE RAVENS BY GIVING THEM GOOD LOOKS IN PRACTICE RUNNING THE PISTOL OFFENSE. THE RAVENS WILL BE PREPARED FOR KAP AND THE NINERS. RAVENS D HAS BEEN WORKING ON IT FOR 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!

Except that he beat Brady in NE primetime and ended his 20 something home winning streak. 

And btw everyteam used scout team to prepare for other teams offence doesn't mean you can stop it.

Held RG3 in check and will do the same on Kap.

wow!  it is just friggin shocking how desperately people around here grasp at every straw to try to support their wager...

we here about this garbage every friggin year in every big game in every support... "so-and-so is simulating so-and-so in practice"...


does it work?  no!  ever?  NO!!!!


NO, it NEVER works... it is always HILARIOUSLY unsuccessful... it NEVER works!  i've never ever seen this work...

Agree its not 2000...... But also not the D I believe you are referring 2, their regular season stats right?...... THIS Defense has a very small sample size because everyone has been hurt, what happened without the various parts of their defensive big 4 is not as apt as you are making it seem. Also they clearly caught a second emotional wind for the playoffs, emotion in a 60 minute season like football is everything.... We have seen this over and over... When a team gets hot, its only 4 in a row to go, 240 playoff game minutes (forgetting OT) and this is the ravens final lapBOL

DIXON CAN RUN THE READ OPTION HE DID IT IN COLLEGE. THIS IS NOT SOME STIFF BACK THERE TRYING TO IMITATE A PISTOL QB....HE IS A PISTOL QB! HE  IS GIVING THE RAVENS D EXPERIENCE  AND REPS SO IT WILL NOT BE NEW TO THEM SENSE THE WASHINGTON GAME. OF COURSE SIMULATING THE PISTOL OVER AND OVER HELPS THE RAVENS DEFENSE. IM NOT EVEN WORRIED ABOUT MY CHEADERBOB. CHA CHING!

ALL ABOUT GIVING THE D GOOD LOOKS. HE IS A 4.5 LEGITMATE PISTOL QB. ALL ABOUT MAKING THE RIGHT READS AND GIVING THE DEFENSE GOOD LOOKS SO THEY KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT AND IT WILL NOT BE NEW TO THEM COME GAME DAY. IF HE IS SUCH A BUM WHY IS HIS OLD COLLEGE COACH CHIP KELLY GOING TO SIGN HIM TO THE EAGLES AFTER THE SEASON?

I may be wrong but i dont think oregon runs the pistol.  they do run the read option, but the niners run their power run game from the pistol, not just the read option.  and no one can simulate kap's speed, i think because of his size and long strides makes him deceptively fast.  and they definitely cannot simulate his ROCKET LAUNCHER ARM

and just the fact that they have to account for and massively prep for that element of his running ability takes away from other areas where he can hurt them passing.  manning and brady arent a THREAT to take it to the house on every single snap

Agreed.  Indy, Denver, Patroits.  All depend on the pass to win games.  San Fran can do it all.  Baltimore wont be able to sit back in coverage for this one.  Can these guys defend everything?  We will see but I wouldnt bet on it.

exactly.  it isnt necessarily about the pistol...indy denver pats dont run the ball like SF...their O lines are garbage compared to SF.  None of those teams have a back as good as Gore or as fast as James.
