In the Russell Wilson era, the Seahawks have struggled in the first half of their second playoff game.
2012 - first game was the wild card win against Washington, followed the game in Atlanta where they were down 20-0 at halftime.
2013 - first game was the win against the Saints, followed by being down 10-3 at halftime against the 49ers
2014 - first game was the win against the Panthers, followed by being down 16-0 at halftime against the Packers
2015 - first game was the win against the Vikings, followed by being down 31-0 at halftime against the Packers.
Right now Atlanta-4.5 for the full game but -3 for the first half. The Seahawks have been slow starters for lost of their games, and even against the Lions on Saturday, the game was 13-6 early in the fourth quarter. They did not dominate outright and their first half TD came on a missed facemask call.
Another trend to look at is Atlanta home games all going over this season: https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/teams/team-page.cfm/team/falcons

It is very interesting. It is either a coaching thing, where Carroll needs to see what the other team is doing in order to make adjustments in the 2nd half, or a Wilson thing where it takes him time to warm up and/or figure out the opponent's defense.

The game is a 4PM (EASTERN) start so it won't matter.
The other games the Seahawks started poorly because they were 1PM (EASTERN) starts.
Since the NFL Playoffs have began West coast teams on the road are winless on 1PM (EASTERN) starts.
This is because a 1PM (EASTERN) start is a 10AM start for the West Coast.
What are you talking about? Both games below were played in Seattle. One was in the afternoon and the other a morning game. They did not have to travel for either.
