Don't forget about LT, Butkus...oh, and if Deacon Jones and his head slap played today...he'd be named as a co-defendant in ALL CTE related lawsuits.
Today's game is a joke. A shell of its former self. All American sports are becoming that way.
Players hugging, Lebron crooning slow jams at Kyrie, jersey exchanges, AVENGERS-type teams in the NBA, no more hand-checking (yes, it's been a while, i know)
You cannot barrel into the catcher in baseball anymore. Can't slide hard into 2nd.
It is a reflection of what American society has become as a whole....soft. Pussified.
Agree on almost everythingyou said at verbatim ...
Enjoy the Game today Brother
Best of luck
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

Sadly... must agree with everyone's depictions of America and the NFL here...
Growing up in the 60's and playing and watching football...it just saddens me greatly to see what it has become and what America is becoming...
The problem is multifaceted...however...it is clear to me that the definitions of mental illness have been literally changed to normalize deviant behavior. This has gradually changed our culture by blurring the clear lines set for hundreds if not thousands of years...
Who among us...even 20 years ago...would have guessed that apparently sane and normal people would argue that biological males with XY chromosomes should be considered female and allowed to compete athletically with XX chromosome biological females?
Science...used to be the "god" of the left end of the political spectrum...now they disdain it to prop up mental illness as normal...
Don't even get me started about abortion...we have laws that require we treat our animals better than our unborn...common sense is no longer common...
If the NFL was smart...which they are not...they would have contracts that every player signed acknowledging the risks and go back to playing the real sport of football...but it won't happen because at this point, there are so many mentally ill people who have money it would affect their money...
Sad, sad situation we live in now...
