bookes almost never put out livelines in a lopsided win like this with 5 mins to go in the game, u usually bet the underdog in these situations...its sucha trap...ive come to realize this this year.  when NE went up 21-7 and tenn was getting the ball, the liveline was 19.5! 

college football championship game when UGA was up 13pts and they got the INT in alabama territory, they took it to commercial break...usually in that situation, liveline would be over 13 points favoring uga but it was -11.5!!@!!!! my dumba$$ took UGA and got burned....when alabama got the INT the next play and scored a FG, UGA was up 10. then commercials came on, the live line was UGA -6.5..it would usually be over 7 in the scenario..alabama came back to win the game...i had bet 300 UGA +3.5 and then liveline 500 on UGA -11.5...it was a valueable lesson

Was a tough game to watch for sure. Would have rather been ‘stuck in a plane’ it was so frustrating. Was very ‘deflating’ to say the least. Considered ‘recording’ it, but decided instead to ‘reverse my decision’ after looking at the ‘clock’ which appeared to be almost standing still at times. But seriously, that clock issue bothered me more than anything. Does anybody know for sure who controls the clock in that situation? Is it the league or is it the Cheatriots???

And here it is!  bpcuno is spot on.  Hey!  Wake up dude!  The refs are all human and make mistakes.  We didn't hear this type of "the NFL is fixed" until we came out with the replay, better equipment, and fast forward to now days where it's all 1,000 times better than it was in even the 90's. Sure, there may be a corrupt ref or two.  But to think the entire game is "fixed"?  That's absurd.  All of the players would have to be in on it to swing the outcome of a game in football.  So, let's hear why I'm the sheep in thinking it's not fixed.  Facts please, facts.  GL today though.

Double up... always respected you brother.   Here's my comment though it's all these people including yourself saying that this specific game was fixed. If people are talking about all that extra second on the clock or things at the end with the head Bob, why wouldn't you fix a game and have it be in hand early maybe this Patriots game was in hand for a bit but many games people think are fixed at the end no one's going to wait until the very end to try and make something happen it's too risky and too many things can go wrong especially late in the fourth so you're probably not going to fix at that point which is when most people claim fixing. I'd be naive to say it's never happened before but I don't think it happens as much as people think. Coming from someone who coaches two different sports at the high school level weird stuff happens all the time and a lot of times and easy answer is just to say it's fixed and while once in a blue that may be the case to say it's a constant doesn't make any sense

Its not about betting or picking a side...anyone with half a brain can watch most Nfl games and easily see how fixed. It is....People who cant see it are Naive or in denial

Once seen. NBA game live wear there were 29 points scored in the final 39 seconds    And go figure the over covers by 2.  Hmmmmmm.   Just happen to notice over 77% was on the under including myself.

If you started a football league and hired qualified refs and had the greatest players in the world, and qualified great timekeepers, it is inevitable that there will be mistakes.  Its human nature that there will be mistakes.   And to most people,  many of those mistakes may affect the outcome of the game.  The mistakes can be anything that we have seen.   And even if you know you own the league and all of the people involved.   There will always be some who will claim conspiracy theory.   I dont doubt that there is a possibility that these refs in the leagues can pursuade an outcome in the NBA/NFL/NCAAB.  But until we have replay review for penalties...  ref biased calls will always exist.  

 

P.S.  If you really want to take the fix conspiracty out of the equation, bet on TENNIS and GOLF.

Yeah, Vegas and the NFL need to fix games to make money.  Ha!  You don’t think if the Bills or Titans made it to the SB the NFL wouldn’t have made more money?  And if it’s so fixed and clearly easy to see why aren’t you and everyone else millionaires with the easy bet?  Oh, you don’t bet of course.....how convenient.  Take off the tin foil hat and enjoy the game.
