Did you see Nick Foles on media night sitting beside the Goat, he looked like he was crapping himself.
Look the Eagles have had a great season and some luck along the way but this game on the world stage is too Big for this team, they have their back up at center who clearly is not Wentz and is pretty much a game manager playing against a much better coached team with a QB who is far superior and will look to make history winning his sixth Super Bowl in eight appearances.
The Eagles are in way over their heads and are enjoying the ride
of just being in the Big game, here are the factors that will determine the outcome on Sunday.
* Brady the better QB
* Bellicek two weeks to prepare
* Gronk will be back
* Eagles allow an average of 23.5 points per game on the road
* Pats allow the second best points against per game on the road at 16.1
* Only seven Eagles have ever been to the Super Bowl, lack of experience in the Big Game
* Game is longer and more distracting than a normal NFL game which will mess up the Eagles and favoure the experienced Pats
All the signs point to the Patriots winning and covering the spread in this game, I must say that Vegas has done an incredible job in attracting Eagles money and will have close to an even split come game time, remember Vegas was built on losers.
Ok how about the Total in this game currently sitting at 48.
Both defenses have been very good this season with the Eagles allowing an average of just 17 points per game and the Pats allowing 18. On the offensive side the Eagles and Pats both average around 28 points per game.
In a game of this magnitude nerves will be evident and gameplans often change earlier and more frequently than in a normal game, if a team gets down big early they will be forced to change their gameplan to try to get back into the game which generally spells disaster, there will be some Big plays as there always are in the Super Bowl and you can count on turnovers as players try to elevate their normal ganme or are just to nervouse in the moment. This will undoubtably open up the game and change the way both teams approach the second half.
I see this game going Over the Total as the Patriots pull away and the Eagles go into Panic mode which will just make matters worse for them.
My Final Predictions for this game are as follows
