Busy week for me guys, posting my picks tonight, write ups in the morning if I get some time. Week 17 is tough because you never know if some teams will give their best effort, as well as the issue of resting starters. The lines also become adjusted because the oddsmakers know the public likes to bet on these angles. I suggest you stay away from teams with starters possibly resting. Anyway, here are the picks, Bol!

Like your 2 stronger plays. Think Seahawks are due to come back to earth (averaging 50 pts a game last 3) combined with the big win over rival 9'ers last week. This is also a meaningless game for them as they don't expect the 9'ers to lose to the quarterbackless pathetic Cards at home, and therefore won't change their playoff seeding regardless of the outcome.

Pats make a statement, after 2 sub par games in a row.

Not sure of the Panthers...They have gotten better, but I feel the Saints will be playing all out! Then again, I would have agreed with this pick if I didn't fade it haha. BOL bro.

Not sure of the Panthers either...they have been a cover machine lately but look at the Saints and how they've been playing in meaningless games.

Saints at home + motivation from telling Goodell "go screw yourself" + Payton jus signed extension + wanting to end season on a good note + an average Carolina secondary...

Saints cover easy...

I do like the Eagles but I wouldn't bet on it. That team always seems to find a way to lose, and as bad as the Giants have been lately,they have easily win their last 2 home games. There's still a small chance the Giants can make the playoffs, but first they must do their job and get this W today. I just can't bak either team because of the inconsistent play both teams have shown the last month or two. A lot of people are also looking at the Mike Vick wanting to show the other 31 teams that he can be a starter again. The way I look at it tho is that Vick hasn't played in over a month. He's going to be rusty and out of game shape. I don't think a NFL qb can just miss that many games in a row and then come out in the last week of the season on the road in the division and be effective. He was mistake prone before he was out, why should I think that will be any different. His offensive line is still bad, and he's lost a weapon in DeSean Jackson. BOL with what you do, but this game is too unpredictable for me.

Saints don't have average secondary, it's down right awful.

The panthers want to end the season on a good note as well, and have been winning "meaningless games" too.

Ron Rivera is coaching for his job.

Cam Newton wants to prove he's elite.

Carolina already beat them once this year. 

Saints defense is just too bad for me to not take 5 points in a division game here. And like you said the Panthers have been a cover machine lately, why can't they do it again, take the points, panthers will stay close.

First, thankis for all of your efforts and write up's.  My thoughts and the Washington game are that home field and the weather will be a huge advantage for the Skins.  May I ask your thoughts?

Just cold here in MD, wind may be a slight factor. Not sure about the field conditions after the weather yesterday.  I don't see the weather affecting the game too much. But if the wind is gusting, yes that does favor the redskins since they can run the ball more effectively. 

Do Not bet this game until the Vikings/Packers and Bears/Detroit games are over. If the Vikings and Bears both lose, the Skins will have a playoff spot wild card spot clinched before game kicks off. If that ends up being the case, I'd go with Dallas.

I don't think the outcome of the games are going to matter to the Skins. They still want to win the division and beat Dallas any chance they get. GOOD LUCK!!

Tampa has horrible secondary and they have given up on the season. The Atlanta reserves may be playing harder than the Bucs. Game is a coin flip IMO. I rather have my money with a winning team in ATL if you want to bet it. I suggest staying away tho. Too many unknowns for me

Hey, brother, thanks for the excellent work all season and on the bowls....fyi-Hank Greenberg(49-38 ATS) disagrees with 3 of your picks...Miami-weak secondary, Pats got something to play for, Carolina's D had issues with the Raiders and Chiefs, GB is running better and the D is healtier now...
