Friday Preseason Picks

We are off to an amazing start in NFL and tomorrow will be an amazing day.  Picture that rolex or mercedez you've always dreamed of and you will have it soon- I promise you that!!!!  I've done some research tonight after I got home from the bar and think there are some great opportunities on tomorrows games.  I'm posting one game but may post more later depending if I have time. 

Take: Oak Raiders +3 (small play $500)

People are high on this bridgewater kid and he's gonna get extended coverage in tomorrow's game.  Problem is, according to my sources, he's looked lost in camp and needs a good 2-3 years to adjust to the pro game.  Ponder is also abysmal at best and Peterson will not play, making things even worse.  Oak on the other hand has something to prove, bringing in a new QB and RB in Schaub and Jones-Drew.  Expect Oak to be focused and to steal this one on the road.  Note that new HC & abysmal QB play is a lose lose in Preseason.  Tomorrow we clean up fellas!

So what happened in the Seattle game you lost right ?  so do you only post the money when you win these games  Mr Manning ?  

you have no idea who will play or how long anyone will play , your pre analyst  of these games is meaningless i pointed this out to you with the Jets Indy game 

it was Simms vs  Harish they both played half the game two QB you didn't mention or  even know were on the team , so much for your pregame thoughts .

 if anyone  wins these games  their  just lucky.  it's  a 50/50 prop  there is no handicapping skill involved  

 Your  4-9-1 ATS so far this NFL preseason in the contest Mr Manning  and that's the only thing that's really documented as far as i'm concerned

I'm not going to say your wrong MrManning, but I highly disagree with your post.  First off Teddy Bridgewater may not be ready to start but according to Norv Turner he is giving Matt Cassel a run for his money.  Not like that is saying much as Cassel isn't a fantastic quarterback in the league, but he is decent.  The reason the Vikings were horrible last year is because of there defense.  Worst in the league! 

They changed there whole coaching staff and hired a terrific offensive coordinator in Norv Turner.  Mike Zimmer may not have experience in being a head coach but this guy is going to instill discipline in this team.

Adrian Peterson not starting is not that big of a deal either.  He is a great running back but there 3rd round draft pick Jerrick McKinnon is unreal and will have a good game.  There receivers are no joke with Patterson, Jennings, and Rudolph at tight end.  They also drafted Defense for most of this years draft. 

Christian Ponders last 13 games the Vikings have scored a minimum of 20 points or more.  He is not a starting quarterback in the NFL but he is capable of scrambling and scoring points.  Ultimately the Vikings have 3 quarterbacks that are at least back up caliber playing all game. 

Again not saying your post is wrong or you are for that matter but the Vikings are a completely different team this year.  I see them scoring points and there old Tampa 2 defense is gone.  Mike Zimmer will take care of the "D"     With that said I like the Vikings -3 points.  The Raiders have no QB's but Derek Carr who played under par defenses his whole career at Fresno State.  Good Luck with the rest of your year MrManning.

Thanks for the input.  Unfortunately, everything you mentioned, I was already aware of and took into account for my selection.  If Minn wins in a blowout, great for you, but it is not likely.  Preseason games aren't to be capped like regular season games and it's all about motivation much like bowl games.  Minnesota does not have their home field this year as they are playing at Univ. Minn.  That could be a factor in this game as well.  I only post games I have the best info on, and Oak is the right side.  BOL

I have to disagree. Preseason games can be capped with success if you have the best info and do your homework.  I've been playing preseason games with fairly remarkable results over the past 10 years since I started seriously capping.  It's all about money management to be successful in this business.  I have no hostility towards you Peter, but please grow up and stay off my threads.  Like I mentioned earlier, this is for WINNERS only and you told me you can't afford to gamble on preseason so please get a job and do something productive with your life instead of trolling.

Well put MrManning!      but motivated.......both of these teams play in the NFL.  I'm pretty sure they are both motivated.  Getting information is not playing the game.   And I don't care if MN Vikings win in a blowout.  I'm trying to say that Oakland is not a good team in any which way.  They have no talent on either side of the ball.  And this is a home game at the University of Minnesota, which is still in MN.  They have a home field advantage any way you look at it. 

Also, if Ponder is abysmal how did he score 20+ points his last 13 games?

Listen the only information would be from the coaches  months  themselves as far as who will play and for how long and that might not  be dependable  they can tell lies and mislead 

but even truthful  info  the number of different variables that come into play within the game itself , like an injury which  could changed a coaches mind about who he puts on the field for the rest of the game

these are practice games and the people playing these games and deciding them may not be on the roster come week 1 

But  you keep acting like your killing it and  what i'm looking at from you is a 4-9-1 ATS and you refuse to address this Mr Manning ?

You obviously have a bias bc you live in MN LOL!  Fact is, Minn is terrible and we can go on and on about this, but I don't have time for this.  There is money to be made.  Only post on my thread if you can supply useful information.  I can't be wasting precious time.

What's  the end game in all of this  Mr Manning , you obviously are trying to sell yourself you have to admit at this point  it's going  bad and leading  no where .

Look I already told you, I'm not in it for the money or anything else.  I'm on here for one reason and one reason only and that's to help people.  There's a lot of struggling people out there who are living paycheck to paycheck and I want to make things better for them.  I was once a struggling individual myself until I met the right people and I am now a changed man living a more than luxurious life.  If I can do it, then I know others can do.
