Eagles ML is the easiest pick of the day.

Van is an asset to the forum in many senses but the historical performances of threads like this are piss poor.
Pissed I got pulled into another one. His big plays in football are the equivalent of a supermodel with AIDS.

You guys worship strange idols...
The Westgate crowd both the masses and the elite picked the Giants also...but then again the top ten thru twelve contestants were 10-1-1 for the last 6 weeks in consensus picks. To come on and pontificate as he did and point fingers at the supposed unworthy, less gifted and then to share a horrific pick that is blown out is more than horrific. Oh yeah, I forgot to add...
Thanks a million Vanackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk....

I thought the pick was sound. I don't follow Mr Vanzack or his picks, but I am in full agreement with the play and also thought this was a good spot to take a home dog in week 17.
Here's how I approached capping this game: Philly barely beat these same shitty Giants 3 weeks ago, barely beat shitty Washington 2 weeks ago, and <ahem> "beat" Dallas. Dallas actually beat themselves, Philly just happened to be in the stadium that day... They now have the added pressure of a "win and your in" scenario against one of the worst teams in the league on the road, and that team is in their Division (knows them well) and has zero pressure. They are down to 2nd and 3rd string skill position players, and have no secondary. Add that up and you get a good probability of an underdog cover and outright win.
I do agree that stating your pick is the biggest play of the year often dooms it to lose, but I can't fault the thought process that went into it.
