GucciCapper has loved the Chargers all week and has liked the Chiefs but wanted to wait for the injury report and to see how the weather was. The weather looks horrible and GucciCapper is MORE confident in his Chiefs play. GucciCapper will be laying 2 bitcoin on the Chiefs -4.5 for the following reasons.
1) The Chiefs will not lose another home playoff game. The collapse at home last year against the Titans was inexcusable. Two years ago, Andy Reid stopped the explosive Pitt offense but lost on a very controversial flag on that 2 point conversion to tie the game. Andy Reid is AMAZING off a bye, and GucciCapper thinks he will have this Colts team looking like how they looked earlier in the season.
2) The Colts defense. They play zone. Mahomes will pick apart that defense. Don't worry about the snow. Mahomes will be focused for this game and he looks comfortable throwing the ball in warm ups.
3) Injuries. Yes, there is no Spencer Ware and Eric Berry. Berry hasn't played all season. The Chiefs will run a lot of screen plays and short outs which equal runs. The fact that Malik Hooker isn't going to play is a bigger factor here. Expect a lot of miscommunication in the secondary and some huge plays from the Chiefs.
4) Dome team going outside. It's quite evident how bad these teams are when they get out of their domes and play on the road. It's even worse when it's in conditions like snow. The Colts will look horrible today in these conditions. Andrew Luck will have 2-3 turnovers and more 3 and outs than you can imagine. This weather greatly helps the Chiefs!
5) The Colts have won 2 big games on the road. Usually teams blow their wad after this. They needed to win in Tennessee to make the playoffs then won in Houston. Think about who the Colts have played all year....horrible teams. Their record is a mirage. They aren't as good as their record suggest.
6) Patrick Mahomes. This guy is a stud. GucciCapper has FULL confidence in him. Don't worry about the stats of QBs making their first playoff start. Mahomes will get it done today.
GucciCapper is taking the Chiefs -4.5 to the bank. Lets get it today guys and start off a great NFL weekend.
