Hey all, been posting my picks and I figure I'd make a post on each forum to separate each sport.. my NFL hasn't been as spot on as my NCAAF, but I feel pretty good about my picks this Sunday.. really really good.. so take em or leave em, but here's what I have for now:
Sunday 11/2 1) Dallas Cowboys / Minnesota Vikings o48 (just mediocre to below average defenses on both sides imo) 2) St. Louis Rams +3 over Tennessee Titans 3) San Diego Chargers -1 over Washington Redskins 4) Buffalo Bills +4 over Kansas CIty Chiefs.. (I think this might be the week that KC loses.. but I'll take the points) 5) New England Patriots -6.5 over Pittsburgh Steelers 6) Houston Texans +2.5 over Indianapolis Colts (Feel strongest about this one.. I keep my units the same for all my picks though, but I like this one the most)
Feel free to drop in your opinions / comments / questions if you have any.. I might add one more after I decide how I want to play that Saints game.. as always, BOL to all!

Yes the Chiefs are like a ripe, ripe fruit on the tallest branch of the tree. They are due to plummet to the earth and this week is as good a time as any.
I have zero idea of how the Texans will win that game but the line is the indicator for me. Behind the curtain... they know the answer.

I love your Houston and Buffalo picks.

Yeah, man.. I definitely like the Bills this week, almost as much as I like Houston.. they always give the opposing team a hard time at home.. every game has been real close for them.. hard not to take them.

Dont like the Rams cause of Clemens. Ok they be the square play but I cant back Kellen Clemens with hard earned money. I'd be really pissed if Titans covered cause of a costly Clemens error. Rams coming off a heartbreaker its Titans or no play.
I like KC this week. They have been poor these past few weeks and I think they make a statement. Agree with the rest

Yeah I'll agree with you about Clemens.. he's not exactly "wow" QB, but I mostly went with Rams for their defense, plus getting 3 points as home feels like a lot. Anything can happen, defense can force turnovers and we know "legatron" can kick long FG's.. Tennessee's defense is pretty solid too, so I'm really expecting it to be a 16-13 type final score.

I agree with your points actually but can the Rams defense by that good on a six day tuirnaround on an emotional loss? Were they that good before Seattle? Dallas, San Fran, Atlanta all scored over 30 points on them.
I think your analysis of the game though is pretty pot on, I just feel a Clemens error will decide this. Titans ML is probably the safest play in this game..

Yuck, didn't do too hot yesterday... had a few pretty tough losses; especially with Chargers (worst play calling I've seen in a while), and that Texans game.. odd call not electing to make a 50-yard kick attempt @ the end there..
I usually stay really disciplined (always same unit size per bet), but I like this one a lot for tonight's MNF.. gonna make it a double:
Monday 11/4 (YTD: 2-5-0) 1) Chicago Bears / Green Bay Packers u51
Good luck y'guys.

Yeah, you were right. It was a pretty close game until the end, I might go with that -10 this week though, line's gotta be that high for a reason, right?
