C'mon WCT, gimme a break buddy...McNabb is not CLEARLY better than Romo. It may appear that way right now just because of how the season ended, but like I said, we know McNabb is NOT clearly better than Romo. It's an argument, you could make a case for either guy... HOWEVER, Kobe is obviously better than Odom...bad analogy in my opinion.
Another thing to consider is the experience factor and where each QB is at in their careers. McNabb has many years of experience in the league while Romo finished just his 2nd full season as an NFL starting QB. I've stated before that QB's become MUCH better in their first 3-5 seasons in the NFL as a starter...it's the learning curve. Romo is still learning. As he gains experience he should begin to limit his mistakes and become more careful with the football. He should also become better and more advanced at reading defenses and simply making better decisions out there. Again, like I've stated on this before, let's give Romo the same number of years to gain the experience and see where he ends up at the same stage McNabb is currently in. I guess that would mean we would need to give Romo about another 6-8 seasons before truly passing judgment on him. At the current point in his career, just completing his 2nd season as a starter, I think it's fairly obvious that he's way ahead of that learning curve. Where he'll end up we'll just have to wait and see...

So Romo playing poorly last couple games has bearing, but if McNabb throws 4picks today it has no bearing??
some people on covers are really not very smart.
I already congratulated Eagles fans on the victory, and honestly after the fact, McNabb played better when it mattered, that's a fact. Did it suck? sure did, but the truth is the truth.

Very well said...
I think there's a lot of over-reaction going on simply based on the final couple games of the season...especially the final game, the head-to-head battle.

So let me get this straight. If McNabb throws for 4 picks today, Romo is better than him? You idiot. I'm sure your book loves you.
Way to go pal

Even after you typed all this, you still think Romo is the better QB. Your question was "Who would you rather have at QB for 2008" NOT "Hey, who would you rather have if both guys had the same experience?" Get a grip Cowgirl fan. My same argument against Romo could be what if McNabb had the same weapons as Dallas? That would be stupid. Your argument that Romo doesnt have the same experience as McNabb, YET, I still would rather have Romo is retarded. Continue to believe Romo is the answer for your girls. YOu are only a few of all Cowboy fans who actually believe he's the answer.
