Ok so my pool is down to 274 people out of 2400... A ton of money at stake here. Out of the 274 only 44 can still use Denver.
I was thinking of just going with them tonight. I know SD always plays them tough, but at home the broncos look like world beaters. And I know sd is hurt. Should I stay away from this tough divisional game (yes I know it's a 10 point spread) like last Thursday night? Or just roll with it??

last year the chargers lit up the broncos in the first half at home,
they ended up losing that game in a very large comeback win. They
learned the way to stop the broncos wasn't to necc score a lot of
points.. but to keep mannig off the field. they executed this perfectly
in their next match when they kept them selves to a lot of 3rd and
shorts and therefore had a really high conv rate in that game. it really
was a beauty executed game on both sides on the field(remember den had
some inj probs at the time)
this year the chargers were lethal in
the beg of the season, i was on them from the start...then this thing
called injuries started to happen and eventually no matter how much
depth u have u r forced to play with two rookie cb's against the oakland
raiders due to injuries pre game and in game injuries and you barely
beat the raiders. Flowers being out and verrett being limited at best
will be a very key factor in tonight's game. also how were the chargers
able to chew the clock last year, running the ball with multiple backs
in mile high conditions, whereas this year there backfield is a mess...
again due to injuries.
as for the broncos they have very limited
amount of injuries and are running on all cylinders on offense with
some home cooking for while now. usually this would be a let down spot,
after a prime time win and breaking a very recognized record like that
last week. i think manning is the best manger in the game and will make
sure that doesn't affect this offense here, also his lack of success
against this chargers team could be a contributing factor to him really
creating an effective game plan.

I think I mentioned the skins to you last week. Tough game but they won! I think you should save denver and plus not a great spot against divisional rivals on a short week. I personally would take the Chiefs. Good Luck.

Thanks fellas. Appreciate it! Like I said. This thing could be down to 44 people if I take Denver and they win. I know it's a tough divisional game, but with all the injuries going on with sd I don't see how they stay in it tonight. I don't know.

u could save the brocos for a later date, but it's never good to have a great team still live and eliminated. personally if i were you i would take the dolphins.
the dolphins have a very solid team and defensive front, they lack consistentcy but i really liek them in this spot. the jags just came off winning their super bowl and i don't see them showing up as hungr as a dolphins team fighting to stay in contention in the afc east. even if the dolphins offense falters.. ie tannehill picks, the dolphins could overcome this bc their d line is so strong and the jags o line is a joke. imo controling the line of scrimmage is the key to the game of football, also the fact the dolphins just have more play makers on both sides of the ball and have something to play for makes its a strong take straight up.

I am in a similar situation, however I am either taking Dolphins, Browns, or Chiefs. Feel strongly that the Dolphins will wax the Jaguars who were gifted that game last week by the Browns. I would not take Denver and save them for another week.

ya if i were u i would take the dolphins.
the browns should win against the raiders, persoanlly i love the raiders getting 7 though, the browns all pro-ish center was injured 2 weeks ago and key injuries on the o-line can come back to haunt teams in later weeks. having said that luckily they are playing the raiders(which is why im having trouble pulling the trigger on the +7) only better tema to face is the jags, oh wait. the browns should win straight up.
as for the chiefs, obv they are a deff animal at home and comeing off a big div win against the chargers. the thing is the rams are also coming off 1 1/2 great performances against two power house div opp.. the 49ers and seahawks. they have a lot of young fast play makers who can break large td runs/catches which is scary. the chiefs should win straight up.
just think of it imagine u lose your pool on the browns... u will be kicking yourself, rule #1 dont bet on bad teams? if it were me i would take the dolphins, see above why,
