If his name wasn't Tim Tebow...he wouldn't have a chance in the NFL. What QB can play 95% of horrid football and still play in the NFL?
Face a good team, one that isn't from a "west" division not named the 49ers, and see where that gets you. Maybe facing an NFC team would open some eyes.
One of my friends is a big Tebow fan and he's bragging about this shit. I tell him...without that pick-6...Tebow isn't even in a position to win that game.
He had 69 passing yards and 26 rushing yards before that final drive.
If Sanchez wasn't Sanchez...tomorrow's headlines are about how poorly Tebow played.
I thought the same things as I consistantly dumped my bankroll betting against him in college.
As for the offense....it sucks. As a passer he is tough to watch....but he can only get better in that regard, and if Denver can win in the meantime they are 50 times better off with Tebow at the helm than Kyle Orton or Brady Quinn.
Defense is playing hard, lots of pride on that side of the ball.

The NFL is seeing a type of offense that hasn't been seen before by a QB whose been used to this type of offense for, what, 3 years?
Wait until defenses get a better understanding at how to handle this type of offense. He'll get better while teams understand him better and we'll be back at stage one.

You're better than that Sparky. All he can do is play and hope to beat whichever team is on the schedule. And before he even gets to that point, the haters have already painted him a loser just like the majority of posters didn't even give Denver a chance against the "mighty Jets" i.e. Jets were going to annihilate Den after that loss to NE, etc, etc.
And yet hurdle after hurdle, the excuses keep coming. It's time to give credit where it's due and move on. 
Early in Michael Vick's career ESPN went to bat for Mike and explained his stats were not indicative of his play and his ability to move around was the future of the NFL.
Vick's footwork and armslot sucked for his first 7 years in the league. There was no worse passer than him, yet he was such a threat to run that his passing stats were largely ignored by everyone except for football bettors.
Fast forward 10 years to Tebow....shitty armslot, questionable footwork, but dynamic on the ground in his own bruising way. His ability to process information and read defenses is light years ahead of where Vick was...yet all I hear about is the fucking passing stats.
Tim Tebow is the most polarizing figure in the NFL since the old Raider's defenses during the John Madden years. People either love him or hate him.
Personally, I think it is more entertaining watching his teammates, fans and media react to what he does on the field rather than to actually watch him play. That being said, I like to see the Broncos win just to shove it up Mel Kiper's ass.
