Hip Hop artist "birdman" bets 5million on pats

According to the website BallerStatus.com, Birdman placed a $5 million wager (yes, you read that right) on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI. He made this bet for two reasons: 1) He won $1 million betting the Green Bay Packers in last year’s Super Bowl, and 2) Patriots running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis is his nephew.

I'll be rooting for my nephew as well if he is playing for a team but betting $5 million is a serious proposition.

he should have waited for the line to drop like i am. should have waited to see if the gronk is going to be able to run before he placed his bet. he jumped the gun way too early. the super bowl pro bets are comin out near the end of the week and there might have been better value on those lines.

Wow !..... he has only sold 750,000 c d's ?...... and I just  happened to of missed the "going on sale day" date of that one !. Guess he really doesnt need my money anyway.

His twitter said, "ill bet 5 mill to any N***** like the Giants"

meaning "Ill bet anyone 5 Million if they want to take the Giants"?

Keep in mind one of those avenging losses was to the Giants which the Pats lost again in week 9

I remember when SF played Miami at Stanford stadium.  I was all over the 49ers, but they showed a guy betting 3 million dollars on the Phins.  I almost paniced and changed my bet.  Glad I didn't!

Hope Danny made a lot off of the Pepsi commercial's that year, cause he never made another apperance.

I rather know what Mayweather is betting. Birdman is a lot dumber probably with his money while Mayweather invests every single penny of his smartly. Im sure both have Professional Gamblers who will get a cut to if they predict the winner.

Either way, the Giants have cost me $10,000 in a pool once, so they owe me a refund. NYG!!!!!

The guy founded and owns Cash Mony Records.  His net worth is over $100 million.  He net's about 15 mm annually.  Why not toss 5 on it

I figured someone confident enough to lay 5 mil on a game would me feel better about my bet but after reading some of his tweets I think i feel worse... He probaly just kept the line from dipping down to 2
