Sides 4-0-1 for +15.1 units Totals 0-1 for -2.2 units
Well that green bay game sure did come down to the wire... what looked like a blowout winner for sure ended up becoming a nail biter..
well, not really for the people who locked in at +3 or +3.5, but i also popped a unit on the moneyline too at +165 which was in jeopardy... that was a long 2 minutes to end the game...
BUT
just like the jets and the skins (week #2) which were nail biting backdoor covering winners, i guess you have to do something to earn your money...
well homework assignment #4 finds 3 road dogs getting points when it should probably be the other way around...
Minnesota +3.5 (i bought the extra half point since betphoenix had them -3 at plus money... just in case they end up like the pats last night and threaten to push.. buying the hook brought the juice to -107. That is going to be a 4 unit play...
Baltimore +3.5 (i bought the extra half point again since -3 was in the plus money which brought the juice to -113 (again for the same reason). That is going to be a 4 unit play as well.
The last play for today is San Francisco +7 at -115. This is going to be only a 3 unit play but i like the trend a lot.. if you want the trend behind the play, read the end of homework assignment #3...
Going out all day, but i wanted to get these plays in before i left because they all have strong angles...
will try to get online later today, but i will be down the shore, leaving as we speak...
good luck and lets keep making money!!!

I'm a Ravens fan and I tend to agree. We are on a very short week of preparation after having played Monday night. We have played our two home games already and can't be too thrilled about meaningless road games. The first home game had a big crowd and was against nearby rival Washington; the second home game was against former coach Rex Ryan who has several ex-Ravens on the Jets. So there was some reason for the players to be more "up" for those games than for a normal preseason game. There is nothing to get up for here. I just don't see this as a good spot for Baltimore.

thanks 4sheezee.. love those trends.. here's the one we are playing on for the niners and vikings... play on any undefeated game three road dog versus an opponent off a double-digit loss.. it is 15-2-1 ats (88%) and both the ravens and the vikings qualify...
88% is pretty darn good if you ask me...
but the logic makes sense.. you have a team who is undefeated, so they are taking the preseason seriously, against a team who really isn't, being that they lost their last game by double digits... now that team that doesn't really care is the favorite?? not with my money...

stevea, thanks for the insight, but keep it as a no play for yourself if you don't like it...

Very well done. I thank you for bothering to make writeups. Since it's writeups that made me bet these plays. Amidst 30 or 50 threads, you appeared to make more sense than average. I was sold. I'm pretty sure you'd do great if you went tout.
Thank you even more for hitting 2 of 2. I'm pretty sure no tout can do better than this.

the ravens and 49ers winning outright as dogs last night brings the homework total to-
6-0-1 sides for 22.1 units 0-1 totals for -2.2 units
finally two games that were never really in question.. when i was originally creating a title for this thread, i originally put- 3 dogs that will win outright.. but then i thought, let's not jinx anything.. since homework # 3 had dogs that won outright...
anyway, xusemeMr, we are on quite a run here my friend.. all based on solid 75% or greater trends... let's keep getting the money!!!!!
thanks for the praise and i am glad that you like my commentary.. but i am not a tout.. i just sift through research done by others to find what makes most sense.. in the preseason i play trends.. during the season, i match trends to motivational plays and injuries.. (or keeping people from injury)..
both of the trends for those 2 games were 80% or above.. and the minnesota game follows the baltimore trend.. see post #13 in this thread...
since i am already playing with betphoenix's money.. and a lot of it at that i plan on loading up on the vikings tomorrow night..
adding-
3 more units to the vikings +3.5 for a total of 7 units... (if you are not up from last night, then don't load up.. keep it at 4 units..)
and congrats again to those who have been with me since the beginning of this run... let's keep it going!!

What's the homework for tomorrow :) Looking for some guidance
all of the info that i have sifted through points towards denver...
if i were going to play it, i would parlay denver/minny for a unit or two.. but there's not enough solid info for me to make it a play.. but i see nothing that supports the bears at all...
denver... i would probably play it if i didn't love minnesota so much tomorrow night... plus it's my son's 1st birthday today, so i am expecting too much company to research it more or have any fun watching it...
but good luck!!
