How bad is bears defense bears fans/football stat guys

Did they add anything good this year? As i recall this defense was absolute garbage especially against the run last year. Has anything changed? The bills have a pretty decent running game, though i personally think that coach is on the outs, and there seems to be turmoil galore within the organization right now. Manuel is no bueno, but if the bears d is as bad as i think it might be the bills might stay in this one. Thoughts, stats, opinions welcomed, ty and good luck degens!

Bears def added some well needed pass rushers in Allen Houston and Young. If they do their jobs it'll be a big help to the secondary which is suspect at the S position for sure. Bills have a good rush attack but if they get behind and Manuel needs to throw forget about it

Ok that's good info, yeh im a bills fan and i can tell you ej manuel looked completely lost in the preseason, and they seemed to have a ridiculously limited playbook on offense that comprised of two plays, draw plays, and screen passes... as bad as the bears d might be at linebacker, and as unreliable as cutler can be as a turnover prone qb, i just can't trust manuel to not be terrible. Think ill just pass on this game, ty.

Dj williams is at MLB.. they signed Houston and Jared Allen and have peanut tillman back... my take on this is if I take chicago i feel like im gonna watch cutler throw 2 picks and not cover..

 their linebackers are pretty bad.  briggs is done.  their special teams in the preseason have been the worst ive seen from any team.  they cant get the ball to the 15 on returns and cant seem to stop the opposing team from getting to the 40.  they gave up 2 returns in the preseason and had 2 fumbles on their own kick returns.

Bills fan here as well Degengambler!! Man i hope ej and the passing attack were just hiding stuff in preseason cuz it looked awful. Bills have very good talent up and down this roster even on offense there is no excuse for it too be that bad. Unless its completely manuel. Im holding out hope for him as he still basically only has what, 6 games nfl experience?
