How many "fixed" threads will there be?

Lets take this a point at a time.  

Someone said, why hasnt ONE former player come out and said the games are fixed.   For just ONE....Larry Johnson...former NFL All Pro RB has repeatedly talked about how the NFL games are just entertainment....and that the games are scripted

The owner of the KC Chiefs in 2016 in a speech to his team regarding standing for the National Anthem has said he is the owner, the field is his stage, and the players are paid entertainers(google and read the speech)

The easiest way for NFL games to be fixed....the REFS...they are paid employees of the LEAGUE and will do as they are told

How else can they be fixed.   Ever watch some videos of former capo Mike Franzese of the Mafia.  He explained in some of how "debts" were passed up to him, in some instances, he referred how some high level players were then in his debt for gambling, and explained how he arranged for certain games to be fixed.   He never named names though.

For those who say the players make too much money, they cant be paid enough to throw games.  HERE is another example.  In the NBA, during his retirement speech(when he "left to go play baseball"), Michael Jordan was asked if he would ever play in the NBA again by a reporter.   His answer, if they David Stern(the NBA) let me back in.   Watch the entire thing on Youtube.   Its almost a hour, but the words came out of the camel's mouth.   what do you think he was referring to when he meant.....if they let me back in.   To me, it means at that time, his "retirement" wasnt voluntary.   But, you can come to your own conclusions.

Tim Donehay(sp) was the ref convicted of betting on NBA for his own benefit and thrown out of the league.

People have asked....give me some examples.   Well....there are some.

IF you STILL want to choose that games in sports are not/cant be fixed, I have no problem with YOUR CHOICE.

What used to make this forum great was the intelligent exchange of ideas.   NOW? There is too much trash talking back and forth

With the advent of many sports teams forging partnerships AND TV Broadcasters(such as ESPN/FOX) aligning with businesses that take wagers as a business, in my opinion, the integrity is only going to diminish further.

 Hey brother I believe you man. Ever since I saw Larry Johnson former chiefs running back say NFL is rigged I stopped watching and then Dwight Smith said its rigged and called Buccs and array winning it. I'm thinking Buccs Rams is preview for rigged superbowl because Brady is goat ram and he goes undefeated and wins superbowl. I can't see how Brady doesn't get to beat Rams but let me know your opinion

 I'm so glad some ppl finally see the NFL is rigged. I predict eventually sports will cave. Prolly baseball first, then basketball then football I'm USA. You will see more and more empty stadiums after this year. Covid was all part of the master plan. Keep ppl locked up for a year so they go nuts buying everything the year after

This thread is hilarious.   People arguing like old ladies.   FACT.   I dont know any NFL players.   But I do know roughly a dozen former Div 1 football players.   THEY had no reason to lie when they told me this....they said they knew for a fact that many players and ASST coaches bet on college football.   When watching sports, ONE can discern when one team is less interested in winning than the other.   REFEREES involvement...same thing can be said in many cases.   We could talk about specific games like last years Pittsburgh/Cleveland NFL playoff game.   Ball snapped way over Big Ben's head and he didnt seem too interested in going after the ball. In fact, he looked like he waited to try only after Cleveland had the ball recovered.  Bad acting...if you ask me.   My opinion.   IF you choose to believe otherwise, Im not going to insult your intelligence.   ME? I learned from that Notre Dame/Colorado Orange Bowl Game when Rocket Ismail returned that punt for a td(he was 20 yds in the clear when the flag came out).   ITs on Youtube....watch it....along with the other things I mentioned including Michael Jordan's "retirement speech" and make you own choice.

I've always thought that sometimes the Refs were told to help keep it close in some games so viewers stay tuned in ( Take a look at all of the primetime games this season ) ..Sure the lions eventually lost by 18 , but they led at halftimen..

The players are likely clueless about what's going on , If there is shakiness going on the league knows the players would definitely let the cat out of the bag ..

Little strange that holding calls were down last season to 543 from 903 and 881 the years before ..Wonder if it had anything to do with the league trying to get a new massive TV/streaming deal ?? 

Have to wonder why a Bazillion dollar league would hire Tony Corrente who was fired for making numerous dubious calls by the pac 12  ???
