I understand playing for a teammate on short notice, but as the truth sets in, how will they respond this week?
Browns are playing tough now. Defense is physical and sound, offense is coming together with young skill players hitting their stride.
Thinking the Cheifs have a crazy week and come unprepared on Sunday. Line already up to 6, did I miss the boat?
i hate backing the brownies, but maybe i have to in this spot. DD, i agree using a tragedy can work in the immediate wake of the event, but now after a funeral, a broken routine, having to travel, the chiefs are running on emotional empty perhaps... maybe just put the brownies in a tease....??

How about Brady Quinn's motivation to show the Browns organization that they made a mistake in letting him go? He had probably his best game as a pro last week and should be able to build from that, if not only from a confidence standpoint. The K.C. OC might be more willing to game plan accordingly and open things up a little, and finally get Bowe, and the rest of the receivers involved in the game plan. So far teams have only had to defend against Charles and the run game, making it easier to prepare for a one dimensional team. All three MNF ex QB's, Jaws, Young, and Dilfer, were in agreement that he played at a level he hadn't prior to last game. Nothing's guaranteed that he will, but he did show he has the potential that's never been shown up to this point. Probably won't even bet that game, just playing Devils advocate. BOL whatever you decide.

Chiefs defense has impressed me this last month honestly. Say what you want but they are certainly playing better than most defenses. The only team they gave up more than 20 to was the bengals but that was more of a biproduct of countless three and outs by matt cassel. Problem is we have no idea what we're gonna get from brady quinn this week. I really like the kid, his attitude, demeanor, im just not sure he's an nfl caliber qb, but then again neither is brandon weeden. If i had to bet id bet the chefs.

Chiefs have been playing good football for a month now. They are 3-1 ATS in their last 4 games which include covers against the Steelers and Broncos, both games they almost won outright. Brady Quinn just had easily the best game of his pro career and now he leads his team into the city that ran him off under an umbrella of boos.
I say they come to play Sunday.

Chiefs were not ready and the Browns defense is for real.
Only gave up 127 yards the last 3 quarters. Overcame the 80 yard TD run on the first play just like they overcame the Pittsburgh pick 6 on the 3rd play of the game last week.
Be careful Washington, it's gonna be PHYSICAL in Cleveland...
