i almost never post my nfl picks, ive been doing fairly well the past three weeks going 14-4 including an 8-0 weekend last weekend, but i am not here to have people question me or follow my picks, im writing this because i have seen SOO MUCH saints love tonight and I cannot understand it.
Some arguements for the saints ive seen is "Drew Brees is gonna tear that D apart, the seahawks havent played anyone like him this year"
Fair enough, they havent played the best teams this year, they did shut cam newton and kaepernick down but they played some pretty damn good QBs last year. On monday night football of last year they played Aaron Rodgers. No way they can stop aaron rodgers right? How does 26-39 with 223 passing yards and no TDs sound? 
Well that was his stat line, sure they won on a controversial play but the point of that is they held the packers to 12 points and dominated aaron rodgers.

Earlier that year at home they played the cowboys. Sure you can say what you want about tony romo this tony romo that, alot of people dont like him but he is still a damn good QB. Throw in dez bryant, a healthy miles austin and a healthy demarco murray and what do the cowboys get vs the Seahawks D? How about 7 points. SEVEN POINTS! Romo 23-40 for 251 yards. ehhh nothing great.
How about the super bowl runner ups last year 49ers, remember kaepernick came into the league ON FIRE last year, not this mediocre QB we see now, he was lighting teams up. Big primetime game and what happened? the seahawks came out and ended the game in the first half. This is the NFC champion of that year we are talking about too and they took it to them. 19-36 and 244 yds. 49ers had 6 points going into the 4th qtr and seahawks won 42-13...
Lastly their closest call at home last year came vs New england. What if i told you Tom Brady threw for 395 yards. pretty impressive right? But what if i told you those 395 yds came on 58 pass attempts. not so impressive.. what if i also told you the pats only scored 23 points on almost 400 passing yards? Not impressive at all.. Maybe the seahawks didnt get up for that game, maybe they didnt think they were good enough to take down the mighty patriots, it was only week 6 of the season. But again they only gave up 6 points to the patriots in the second half! The great tom brady and bill belichick patriots could only manage 6 points in 2 qtrs vs this defense?
All 4 games above the seahawks won vs very good QBs. You know what else? all of those games aside from the 49ers game were early on in the season, while russell wilson was still only a game manager. This offense has gotten 10x better since the early part of last season and they are going to take it to the saints tonight. Both teams know whats on the line, The winner will most likely be the #1 seed in the playoffs so dont say the saints need it more, they both need it with big divisional games on tap next week. I dont care that browner and thurmond are out, the saints are without their best cornerback in greer. That front 4 will create havoc for drew brees, that crowd will disrupt audibles, draw a couple false starts. The seahawks roll. Saints backers better get out while they still can
