Bills didn't control their own destiny either but they had to take care of their business first and get some luck..

I must say, this is sound logic.

I agree about those must win or have to win or absolutely do or die situational plays a lot of times don't mean shit on the outcome yes.

But in this particular situation the bears are  resoundingly beatable and Seattle should win and if they don't.....beat it! You don't belong in the playoffs and is just the way that I myself see it.....good luck with your play/ plays gents.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not. Point was people often conflate needing to win with must win. They think a team in a back to the wall situation versus a team with nothing to play for is always a shoe in. Problem is if the team was really that good they would never have been in that situation in the first place, so you're not necessarily backing a team you can trust to get the job done.

Totally meaningless game for Seattle.....contrary to some incorrect statements.......winning or losing tonight means nothing....only way Seattle gets in is for Rams to lose Sunday and then Seattle has to beat the Rams in the final game......regardless of result in game tonight

Yes technically they need the Rams to lose this week.

However, if Seattle "didn't care", why play all your starters and risk injuries?
