1. Houston 10-21-1 ats on the road off a home game s 06
2. NYJ 6-2 ats as a home dog on mnf
3. Home dogs of 7+pts are 21-11 ats s 90 if the road fav scored 30+pts last game
Just something to chew on...
I'm trying very hard to convince myself not to make the square play tomorrow night as well, but it's not working.
- Sanchez has been pitiful.
- No weapons or deep threats.
-Jets D should rise to the occasion and play a much better game.
-Rex has his team refocused after calling them out.
- etc.
Then we have the Texans who is just destroying everyone in their path offensively and defensively. Let alone a Monday night game in which they'll come to play with no let down.

Exactly. I'm thinking on similar terms as well. However out of those four teams there. I would say DEN and MIA would beat the Jets considering the circumstances that the Jets are in now.
Now onto tomorrow's game. Sure I see the Jets coming out strong and playing tough football. But after a quarter or two when the Texans get out on top and is running away with it, how will the Jets get back into the game? How do they slow down the avalanche that is the Texans?
Of course no one can cap turnovers. And that should be all the Jets have to cling onto to.
And then there are the officials.............................

Disagree with that. The oddsmakers will adjust the lines properly.

Good point as SF was 13-4-1 last year ATS (will vary depending on your lines). But teams like that are rare. Yet it's still too early to put the Texans on that level, although they are playing like world beaters as of now.

The difference is Denver wasn't all beat up like this Jets team is. It's like saying Denver was without Champ Bailey and D. Thomas in that game. And Denver had team chemistry and was playing with plenty of confidence. Tebow inspired that Denver team. Can't say the same for the Jets here with Sanchez at the helm.
Of course anything can happen and the Jets may spring the upset of the season for all we know. Nick Buoniconti and the undefeated Dolphins are counting on it despite being this early in the season.
