Detroit is fade material. I love Matthew Stafford, I think he's an elite quarterback, but I think their defense is terrible, their run game is nonexistent and Jim Caldwell is a moron. I also think that Detroit will struggle in potentially rainy and cold non-dome weather. Coming back full circle with Stafford being 0-2 in playoff games and being an elite qb desperate for a playoff win, it wouldn't surprise me if he pulls off some kind of crazy 4th quarter come from behind attempt at victory to cover the spread, but not win the game.
For the Steelers, they are essentially coming off of a bye with a majority of their stars resting last week. Miami ranks 29th on defense in total yards, 15th in passing and 30th in rushing and that spells disaster for the Dolphins as the Steelers rank 7th in total yards on offense, 5th in passing and 14th in rushing.
For what it's worth, I have no clue what my record is, but I started with $5k and I've since cashed out $12k with $3k in the account still.
My HUGE play this week is -
7pt teaser - Pitts -3/Hawks-1
Bonus medium plays:
Pitts-3/Pitts Over 40
10 point teaser - Pitts ML/Pitts Over 47 and Giants +14.5
6 point teaser - Hawks-2/Pitts -4/Pitts Over 41
Small plays:
Giants +4.5
Pitts over 47
6pt teaser Raiders +10,5/Under 43

Agreed Earl Thomas injury was huge, but the Hawks haven't lost a nfl playoff game in Seattle since 2004.
The reason I love the teaser in favor of the Hawks is I think there's a high probability that Seattle wins this game. I also think there's a higher probability that Seattle wins this game by double digits than the other way around. Not enough to bet it straight, but enough for me to tease it down. My main reasoning behind this is even without Earl Thomas, I think Seattle will win the plus minus turnover battle leading to some easy scoring. Seattle just doesn't make a lot of mistakes on offense and special teams
Seattle is one of those teams that you need a balanced offense to beat. Trying to air out 40 to 50 times a game is a recipe for disaster against this team and I think the thing nobody is really scared of is Detroit's run game.
my two cents...good luck everyone this weekend, i hope we all end up raping the sportsbooks for some $$$.

I could definitely see Detroit getting beat bad in this game,i know that Earl Thomas injury hurts their defense a lot,,but I think they have enough clutch players to overcome 1 injury. This might be jumping the gun a little, but I could see them going into either Atlanta or Dallas, and giving either of them all they could handle.

Seattles Oline isn't good enough to go deep in the playoffs.. with Lockett out(being over looked).. that's there homerun threat.. I've got Detroit here, definitely with the points.. Slay can tie down Baldwin.. if they somewhat contain Graham.. who is their playmaker? I'm not a Seahawks hater by any means, even with E Thomas out, that D can ball.. but if they get by Detroit.. I don't see a favorable matchup for them in the second round

Good thoughts, but I'm oppo you on this. I think Slay is far from 100% and Baldwin is going to burn him all day. Hamstring is a soft tissue injury and those take time to heal. He barely played week 15, was out week 16 and was beat like an unwanted step child repeatedly by the packers.
