Glad he wasn’t the coach for the Patriots in this draft. A top talent qb was badly needed. Who knows what belicheck would’ve done with a draft pick at no.3 but the reality is New Englanders won’t have to worry about that anymore. 

No question that Bill Belichick was one of the greatest defensive minds in the history of the NFL. What other head coach could defensively shutdown that high powered Peyton Manning Colts' offense? Or the Rams' high flying offense in the Pats' first Superbowl win? 
How much success would Brady have had in those years with only an offense? That defense bailed his a$$ out many times and many of them were in high profile games.
That being said, great head coaches need franchise QBs in order to build a dynasty and to come up big in the post season. 

Belichick was awesome on Pat McAfees draft special.   Never have you heard this guy speak so much and talk football, and in this case draft picks ( including their shortcomings).

year after year it was one head scratcher after another. it could've been a punter or place kicker. lol

He won a lot of Super Bowls,....he could coach defense, but his talent evaluation and offense development were very poor.

And, of course, one wonders how much cheating he didn't get caught doing, like bugging the opponent's locker rooms as well as having secret video sessions of the opposing teams' practices.  

When the "greatest show on turf" players are saying that the Patriots' players were calling out the Rams' plays before the play started in the Patriots' first Super Bowl under Belichick, it makes one wonder.

He was the Richard Nixon of the NFL....he got to the top, and for him the getting there and staying there justified the means.

Belichick yea he won a lot of SB standing on the sidelines with his thumb up his ass while dopes like( Kyle Shannon Matt Ryan) (Pete Carroll Russ Wilson ) gave the game away . 

Almost 20 years being in a division with 3 bottom feeders in an overall garbage non competitive league combine that with a silly playoff system which set Brady and Belichick up in these 1 game championship , both Brady and Belichick are media creations nothing great ever happened and I'm from Boston.

At least you got the Brady thing right but Bill's a phoney too. Mahomes wins super bowls.  Brady was outplayed most of the  time in post season he was never the reason why they won anything .

This. OP is unhinged and angry. And he knows nothing of football. I'm not gonna sit here and say that he's the greatest coach of all-time, but he might be. He's probably the greatest defensive mind of all-time though. And those early Patriots teams won on defense. Look it up.

Two things can be true. Bill has WON and COACHED in the most championship games and Super Bowls(6-3), and has also lost the most games. He is the greatest in games that include Brady. He is above average in totality if you include all games without Brady.
