I don't know, I saw Wentz on the sideline yesterday and he had one of those nervous, anxious, 'i'm happy but i'm not happy' facial expressions yesterday whereas Lurie was dapping Foles and dancing, Crazier things have happened in the game.
Crazier things have not happened lol.. Brady taking over for an above-average, aging Bledsoe is not a comparison in the slightest... Wentz entering 3rd year - havent seen even seen his ceiling yet but he is already playing at a consistent MVP level over the course of year 2 - common now
Owner dabbing and getting pumped and backing his current QB as they head to the supebowl... What is he supposed to be - sad?
This is a non-debate

NMFW they lose wentz ..........they should try to hold onto foles as solid back up ....Foles at one point wanted to retire also so he may just do that go out as a winner
Maybe wentz should copy foles pocket presence use 6the run play option and stay safe dont go running into a pile of defenders
Zeebs One point wanted to retire doesnt mean he will settle for back up tomorrow.. Things change... He has earned another opportunity to start and I think he will get it... So many franchises need QBs - Zona should trade a 3rd and 5th for him (market could drive it to a 2nd)... 2nd time Phily gets a return on Foles and rightly so - they resurrected his career....

Joke of a question. Foles has 1 yr left on his contract. When and I repeat when the Eagles win the Super Bowl. The best executive in the NFL Bruno ( sound better than Howie ) Roseman will be shopping him on the prime market. Wentz is the Eagles QB for a few more Super Bowl's to come.

What makes people think that Foles wants to be a starting QB? Unless you roll a dump truck, and I mean a large dump truck full of cash at his feet, I don't think Foles wants to leave Philly, and be a starter on a crappy team. He is already getting 27.5 million from the Eagles to be a backup...who is going to give him more than that to be a starter?
He stays where he is and he is happy being a backup and making cash for holding the clipboard.

I’m guessing that this owner will stick with Wentz. If the Eagles win with Foles, they’re probably thinking they could have won with Wentz. And because Foles is the journeyman, the younger Wentz gets to keep his job, and the Eagles continues to build around him. If I’m the owner I keep both until there is a market for a qb, there’s no rush to move on.
Wentz is Philly's QB. Keep Foles until there is a market for a QB. Seriously, there is a market NOW.
If Foles wins the SB could Eagles get a 1st round draft pick for him? That would be my move.

Says the guy who thought the Eagles laying 5.5 at Dallas was square, The Cowboys, America's team getting 5.5 points at home is sharp, Right. Then this fraud bet the house on the Bears 13.5 against the Eagles, Assuming the Eagles would have to stop covering at some point, He even said he'd not play another bet till the play offs if that bet lost, Only for him to play another bet before the play offs, Fraud.

Such a moot question. Foles could throw 20 TDs in the Super Bowl..........win SB MVP..........do 5 State Farm commercials...........go to Disneyland...........
.........and NOT get the starting job. Wentz has already shown he is the future of this franchise. He is adored by the fan base. He guided them to the playoffs in impressive fashion.
End of story.

There isn’t a football team in the world that would trade a number one pick for Foles. Complete garbage armchair wannabe GM comments.
And I can tell you with certainty that not a single person in the eagles organization has even entertained the thought of starting Foles over wentz. This is a complete garbage waist of time thread....I can’t believe I actually took the time to read and write this.

The real story here is Pederson. Guy might be a QB whisperer. Would be rolling the dice to assume either Foles, or Wentz for that matter, would be as good in another system.

Reading crap like this hurts my eyes. Wentz was winning league MVP. In year 2. That’s UNHEARD OF for a QB. The guy is hands down going to be the best QB in the league and we are talking about NICK FOLES taking his job?! Do you people realize the Eagles D has given up 8 ppg the last month? What do you think Wentz would’ve done to Atlanta? Hint: he wouldn’t have leaned on the defense for a 15-10 win. The Eagles would’ve won that game 35-10. Wentz led the league in TD passes and played 13 friggin games.

Do you actually watch these games??? If Wentz was healthy there is 0 % chance the Eagles get to the Super Bowl, 0%, A big fat, ZERO. The whole reason the Eagles have got to the Super Bowl is on the basis of two teams both underestimating them, And the Eagles using that as motivation. If Wentz was healthy the Eagles would have been 4 point faves against Atlanta as opposed to 3 point underdogs, Against the Vikings the Eagles would have 1/1.5 point faves and the pressure of the NFC Championship game would have been a whole lot different. Just like what happened in Seattle earlier this year, Wentz does not play well under pressure and given how the Eagles have a history of choking as it is, They were likely one and done this year if he was healthy.
The thing you imbeciles are not missing is the big factor of this being the Eagles first Super Bowl victory, First ever. Like i said, IF AND I REPEAT IF the Eagles win the Super Bowl, Wentz has got nowhere to go but down, How does he please that fan base when they have achieved what they have been after for so long? There's no way the Eagles win back to back Super Bowls so he's already going to be disappointing Eagles fans next year, That's a given.

Foles would go down as the greatest QB in franchise history (to date). His play these few games is a win win for him and the franchise because he gets paid and we get picks that we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise as well as retaining our franchise QB. IMO he’s a Derek Anderson...flashes of brilliance but ultimately no more than a backup QB. Someone will pay him though and he will get a chance to start (again).
Go birds.
Finally some common sense, Despite disagreeing with my idea explains his own thoughts without throwing a hissy fit and getting angry at the thought of raising a topic of discussion.

So you're telling me there's a ZERO percent chance of making the Super Bowl with the league MVP and the best record in the league?
