This tie nonsense is also erroneous because the Lions still have all the tiebreakers locked up. The only way the Vikes overtake the 1 is if they have a better final record than the Lions.
Gamblers should pay more attention to the aspects of the league that have nothing to do with their bets.

Is the possibility of a tie very low. Absolutely. But here are the "important" facts about the tie.
Lions win today + Next week tie = 1 seed
Lions lose today + Next week tie = 5 seed
So yes these details matter.

So by this logic, next week the Chiefs should play all their starters for the full game, along with the bills and the Eagles in absolutely meaningless games just like this one is for the Lions?

all am gonna say is campbell really isnt that bright and he was taking a huge chance playing his starters to the end when next week is the most important game of the regular season for the lions. If one of his stars got hurt bad, he could have killed lions chances at a super bowl. Really surprised the owner who signs the checks didnt tell him to get the stars out of the game.

Every coach can do what they think is best for their team. If that's sitting starters, to each their own. I get what your saying, ofcourse no one would get hurt if they don't play. But shit the Lions have all ready been through a ton of injuries. I like the fact that he said fuck it, we can't be scared of that.
It's like that beautiful girl in school that you crushed on for an entire semester. You want to ask her out, you think about her all the time, at the same time your scared of rejection. Will you get rejected if you don't ask her out? Ofcourse not. But you'll never get that pu ssy either.
There have been several occasions in the past where resting starters have cost teams.
Playing every week isn't always the worst thing in the world. Players stay in a routine.
Also, maybe it's time we all trust what Campbell says. A lot speculated that he was dishonest in press conferences about how/when he would play his starters. Imo, this dude is as real as they come.
