Seen a lot of posts where people are calling it quits and have friends that said they’re done with the books.
I personally didn’t make this game a large wage because I didn’t know what to make of it.. but I feel people put their entire heart and bankroll into this knowing the consequences. It’s too many things that goes into account when betting the Super Bowl. And I’m such a big wuss at playing individual player props because to me it’s just like parlays.. a waste of money.
I’ll just stick to college hoops and college football I’m not eliminating nfl from betting it. But I won’t wage it as much.

Props are nothing like parlays. I usually lose most of my prop bets, but do very well with parlays; namely, open parlays.
With that said, there are so many games to bet throughout the year, I never understand why people unleash their entire bankroll on a single game.
I had leaned Chiefs before the game, but didn't place a bet pre-game. I got a feel for the game, and then opted for a couple of Chiefs bets at + money. I do regret not betting more.
I am, however, left broken seeing a team I hate win yet another Super Bowl. I'll just wait for the Harbaugh-era Chargers to kick in and try to stand in their way for the next one.

Here's a secret. Tom Brady is 2-0 as super bowl underdog. Patrick Mahomes is 1-0 as super bowl underdog and now 2-0. This is one of those secret betting trends that gives us an advantage over the public. I took advantage of this. Luck is opportunity.

If that’s the case then most likely they are young or inexperienced gamblers and shouldn’t be gambling anyway. When I was younger I didn’t have any money management or self control. A bookie god rest his soul schooled me to the importance of both if ur going to do it long term. U never bet more than u can afford to lose. And that’s something anyone better know or u shouldn’t be doing it. It’s called gambling. Not winning lol.

i bet against the chiefs because I couldn’t stand them winning another super bowl. However it was more of a fun just to watch the super bowl bet than making it my biggest ever of the year. I feel there is no clear angle when the lines are this close and a defending champion is in the super bowl. But kudos for those who hit today.

yessir I learned that bankrolls management is important if you wanna do this long term. You go on hot streaks every once in a while hit the big ones but with that comes cold streaks and big losses. However it’s up to you to reassess and adjust how you play the books.

He did tell everyone in his interview that he thought KC should be -2 favorites and the line was wrong. KC was awesome tonight. Great game for both teams..it was tremendous

We live in a paranoid world where everything is a conspiracy. They were accusing him of trying to sway the public so he could get a better price on the other side. He gave out kc last year too

You're noticing it more because gambling has become mainstream now that it's legal almost everywhere. Way more people betting than ever before, the lines are now part of every broadcast, there's betting ads on all the time.
Novice bettors especially will get killed playing all the stupid parlays, prop bets, and live betting (with your TV 2-3 plays behind real time). The books offer all that because it's hard to hit those but people love them, they love to dream of a big payout on a parlay. And all the guys who started betting after playing fantasy football seem to love player props. Then they're parlaying player props with the game... It's pissing your money away.
Unfortunately there's a huge new wave of addicted gamblers. They say they'll quit but they won't. I was going to quit after last year and didn't but I really am sick of football betting now. All these teams with big leads at halftime that can't score in the entire 2nd half drove me nuts the last 2 seasons. It's all designed now to come down to the wire so you should only continue betting if you actually enjoy sweating every bet to the final whistle.

Trust me bro. Feel the same way. Been doing this a long time. I’m just fed up anymore. It’s to much time and effort all to be aggravated. It isn’t worth it. I’ve lost tens of thousands this season some blowouts some by the hook some on horrible calls by the zebras.. it’s comical if I continue!! This has got to be the end for me. Otherwise not sure what direction to go

Buffalo Bills' week 18 game was my only NFL regular season bet, I strictly bet on postseason games only for many many years. And I mostly placed flat bet on every playoff games, equally important I don't bet huge money on the games that I can't afford to lose. Good luck!

Usually people load up on the last game of the season. It is just human nature to do so. Go all in on the last game.
Then I heard someone said that it's just another game.
Now I understood what they meant. You betting units should corresponding to your confidence in your bets. If I feel 99% winner, I'm dumping my whole roll but this game could be the 1st game of the season. No one has a 100% confidence in their picks tonight. Ok maybe condom gape but he's just special.
What I'm saying is that if you are up in the season, why go all in to put yourself in a position for your bookie to eff you up? Let those who are in the negatives to go hard on the last game. Winners can lose and still be up on their bookie. Bottom line.

@Jimmy_Cats Are you serious? A fkn punt off the toe for the chiefs their only TD in regulation? Use your brain a bit.
The Chiefs had 73 more yards than the 49ers. They ran 8 more offensive plays and still gained 5.8 YPP to the 49ers 5.4 YPP. The turnovers were equal at 2 for each team. Ultimately, the Chiefs answered the 49ers FG drive in OT with a TD drive. Yes, I'm serious. The Chiefs played a slightly better game than the 49ers.

I bet you there are more gambaholics than drug addicts and alcholics just that most of us keep going on with our lives and find ways to make the money to lose. I am one of them and I’ll admit it if I didn’t start gambling my life would be a lot better right now and I probably be retired.

zebras actually pretty much gifted a holding to SF during OT but they choked on the TD cause QB couldn’t run for sht like Mahomes does. Defence didn’t choke , it’s just Mahomes was too experienced and quick for SF. Was a good game, I actually betted on SF -2 lolll. I would have lost either way if the FG +1 was good
