This is a good post. I actually think the Rams win, 23-20. The fact that their terrible kicker will miss one FG and one XP means it's a FG game, and I'll take the Falcons plus the points. Sarkisian has destroyed the ATL offense for most of this season. But with no home crowd noise affecting them tonight, I like the Falcons to get 20. The reasons you gave factor in a little as well.

If I composed my query correctly, in the last 20 regular-season road games getting 6+ points ATL is 3-17 SU and 12-8 ATS.

In the playoffs, they are only 1-2 SU and ATS with those parameters.

In the last 20 regular-season home games laying 6+ points, the LAR are 14-6 SU and 10-10 SU.

In the playoffs, they are 2-1 SU and 1-2 ATS.

I certainly don't see any strong advantage to either team just based on that big spread.

Of course, the current line is LAR -5.5, so do some more research and adjust your thinking.

You know what's funny to me especially around this time of the year going into the playoffs.

We have little to no discussion about the Playoff Officials. In most cases they decide the outcome of the game, not the players and their winning or losing records.

I really need to know how these Officials will call the game before seriously wagering on the outcome. Officials have history just like the players have stats and trends we can analyze.

That still doesn’t explain how they did absolutely nothing on offense at home as the leagues number one scoring offense

Give up over 20 pts youre bound to lose in the playoffs and thats what happened tonight. End of story. Their offense couldnt convert when it mattered most and the turnovers proved to be killer
