Pretty sure I remember something along the lines of:

If a team scores over 40 plus point (and covers) 2 weeks in a row to play against them the 3rd week.

Crazy winning percentage!!

Every team EXCEPT ATLANTA that has scored 40+ has lost SU the following week.

So you go AGAINST SAINTS this week IF YOU FOLLOW THE TREND WHICH IS UDEFEATED ALL SEASON Except Atlanta.

Atlanta has has bucked this trend 3 times all ready BUT NO ONE ELSE HAS...

Another trend is when a team wins by more then 20 and holds the other team to less then 10 b2b weeks you bet against them the third week. I don't know if this came in to play this year at all.

YES, BUT ONLY STRAIGHT UP APPLIES AND THEY ARE THE DOG...Washington beat up Green Bay by 40&#x2B; to come back as the dog to dallas on thanks giving and lost SU ( but they covered the spread) SO THIS APPLIES TO SU ONLY MEANING BETTING AGAINST A FAVORITE IS UNDEFEATED MONEY.

Arizona can lose SU and still cover the spread, but based on the season results SEATTLE WILL WIN THAT GAME STRAIGHT UP for sure. If it continues...

Post from back in the day from Bator:Since 1999, NFL teams are 3-16-1 ATS the week after winning consecutive games in which they scored 30 or more points in each while allowing 10 points or less in each (with no bye weeks involved).  If the team off a pair of monster blowout wins allowed no more than 10 points combined in their two big wins, they went 1-10-1 ATS the following week.  If the team off a pair of monster blowout wins scored 40 points or more in at least one of the two big wins, the following week they went 5-4 SU &amp; 0-8-1 ATS.Rams scored 14 points which omits any "Bator rule" play.

Last year I was so excited to take the Browns on the road against the Seahawks because this angle was coming into play. Then this happened, although the next week the Rams beat the Hawks SU as dogs of +11. Crazy part is I got in on the Browns at +16.5 that week!!

Here is the one I have:Team scores 30&#x2B; and allows 12 or less in TWO straight games. PA them next game IF non-Div = (3)-25 ATS since 1981. No Plays this year. Seattle spoiled it last year as noted above.
