Look, a lot of threads here will have a lot researched stats ect, and a lot of that can be usefull but can also get your head going a lot of different ways. Lets keep this SIMPLE! DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! Seattles defense forced 3 4th quarter turnovers againt niners, I can go on and on and on with their defensive stats but we all know what their defense is made of. Peyton Manning in my opinion is best quarterback to ever play the game once the smoke clears, and has tons of weapons around him. Have they been tested against a Seattle defense? Will he find a way to score? Sure he will but not like he has all season. Peyton has been criticized as being a below par qb in cold weather, he shut is critics up with a great cold weather game this year, but historically his numbers way down in cold outdoor games, and we all know where and when this one is being played. Last but not least Seattle will be able to score on Denver with suspect areas on their defense. If seattle can get it done with more points than niners in a game with that niners defense then rest should fall into place against Denver. DEFENSE WINS THIS CHAMPIONSHIP. Comments?

Kap made the turnovers. Do you think Peyton will make the same mistakes Kap did?
Not at all!! But Seattle will not have to worry about Peyton running either which will allow them to focus on the run (tail back) and paytons pocket passing, and not the intangible of a mobile qb which takes another dimension away. Broncos will score on them, just not like they do on everyone else, it wont be enough as seattle will score that much more on suspect broncos defense. But to answer your question no peyton wont make nearly as many mistakes., but wont be enough as hes not gonna be able to put up enough even with good execution.
Both defenses are playing outstanding in the playoffs. In terms of receivers, Denver has the edge. Experiences? Den has the edge. It's all going to come down to...the team with the better QB will win the SB.
Seattles Corners are better and Seattles Running Game WILL be better in this one. Marshawn Lynch will be extra Beast mode. Seattle will control clock as well with his running game. But yes an edge with recievers. and expierence. Good Luck

DEFENSE WINS ??you forget seattles #1 defense was due in large part to their 12th man....they won't be there on sb sun...but the #1 offense will with ny fans rooting for eli's brother

Defense wins championships but denvers d has been awesome for two weeks against high powered offenses. Dont ignore this. Seattle is not high powered offensively. I think hawks will play great defence but Manning makes more plays.
The facts don't back that up.
Denver defense gave-up a average 104.85 QBPR to Rivers and Brady, who's regular season average was 96.4.
In other words, Rivers and Brady played better against Denver's defense than they did in the average regular season game.
Seattle's defense gave-up a ave of 71.35 to Bree's and Kap, who ave 98.15, better than Rivers and Brady in the regular season.
Seattle's defense held Bree's and Kap to almost 27 pts below their regular season ave.
Denver's defense is anything but awesome.
