Nfl is becoming garbage version of college football. Because it is hard to find elite passers it is easier for college teams to focus on running QBs to win. Less learning and skill to pass and just use pure athleticism. That is why all these guys are drafted play like Jackson, Daniels or Allen.
There are benefits but ultimately these guys get injured, banged up or have to pass when they play the best teams to win it all unless they are very lucky and have a great defense.

Worse QB is Baker M. With that routine play of a fake handoff, an unforced fumble, he now leads the NFL in fumbles. He cost Tampa...plain and simple. Up 4 with the ball. Your receiver made an awesome stretch to get the 1st down. There were players walking past him that were not patting him on the back with words of encouragemnnt...they were pissed off and giving him fixed stares...

Why does that matter?
No one has Washington winning the superbowl.
No one had Washington making postseason before 2024 season even started.
A rookie QB winning a playoff game when literally the team was 31 out of 32 last season is a significant achievement in itself. Redskins last playoff win was 20 years ago.
The kid gonna be a star, possible future HOF.

He looks like a high school QB. Very thin and a lot of in your face exuberance. The game looks too easy for him. Kind of strange he is so untouchable back there.
He just sprays it all over the place. Has no fear. His red zone accuracy isn't that great, tbh. And that is how you can seperate great passers (catchable balls), is in the red zone, under pressure, under 20 yards.
That is not a great coach over there (Quinn) and a lock down defense /pass rush...ought to control open situations /looks he gets vs average defenses. This ending looked so "scripted" (of course it isn't).
I think the kid is a very good QB and will be for years to come. He has showed amazing composure for a rookie. He has the physical attributes to be a much better Hurts. He had good protection but he also makes space for himself easily. Made some bad throws, a few more than he needed to but no picks and no fumbles and a big W. And he's 24.
if u saw him at Texas Tech it was a given....
only lost at TT because their defense was trash.....
