Shefty now reporting the two have talked and  there is mutual interest.  Apparently long-term relationship. Wow. Gonna have to cut back on ESPN if this goes down...as they were already obsessed w the Cowboys to begin with,as I'm sure all here noticed. And him. 

Are you kidding? Prime is EXACTLY who he wants leading the Cowboys. This is a win win situation for Jerry. 

Let's say Deion is able to motivate and turn this team around. Best case scenario they make the playoffs and the bandwagon grows. 

However what if Prime struggles his first year. Who cares, do you realize how much of a circus it's gonna be if Prime is the head coach of America's team. This is exposure, and MONEY that Jerry can't duplicate with the Ben Johnsons of the world. 

The countries highest valued franchise (in any sport) would just distance itself further with PrimeTime as head coach. 

Its a no brainer for Jerry whether it works or not.

Off topic but if anyone has seen landman he was on episode 9 and I thought his part was pretty good.  Talked briefly how he started and how he loves working with family.   It just made him seem more "human/normal" for what it's worth.

Granted being a cowboys fan sucks right now and I dont agree with his choices.

 I guess continued avg performance doesn't really affect their branding,mkt loyalty as such. And yes,I agree, this will probably be a big  money maker. 

On another note, anybody remember when he was at FSU,playing Clemson in huge game.,late in the season.  Had just started dating this hot girl,huge Clemson fan,grad. We had a nice buzz, beautiful  aft at the house. Deion back to return punt late in game. Turns to Clemson sideline,pointing at the other end zone,yelling " it's going back". Blockers opened huge hole,hit it with that 4.2  and gone. To the house.
