I have read most of these comments concerning this work related injury..., I am a health and safety officer on medium sized construction projects, (level 3 first aid). Rule number one, be safe and everyone goes home after a shift to the family, rinse and repeat. Accidents happen, friends and co workers do die and thats bad, but it does happen all the time. the job site would be closed for the remaining hours of the work day everyone going home in shock, some more than others depending how well you knew the deceased and family and children .... most workers would be expected to work the next day unless you were traumatized by be being a witness and see your buddy bleed out or die of heart attack etc...
The NFL, or the coaches did the right thing and it was handled well in my opinion. The few individuals that only thought of themselves , does not surprise me.
