jets should win this game handily. sucky texans run game will be stuffed by jets front 7, and texans wideouts are all banged up. if walter and daniels were to play then they have a shot. revis or cromartie should have aj contained.

Matt Schaub is expected to return to the team on Thursday after he is released from a Houston-area hospital for treatment on his right knee, coach Gary Kubiak said. Kubiak is unsure if Schaub will practice on Thursday or will be available vs. the Jets on Sunday.

If i'm not mistaken the Jets played this team last year in HOU and beat them up pretty good. Schaub had a shit game, Revis shut down Johnson, and HOU could not run the ball. I see more of the same this Sunday. Jets should have no problem moving the ball and scoring on HOU. As long as they don't turn the ball over and beat themselves they should get the easy cover.

The Jets are the shittiest 7-2 team in the history of football. They squak past the shit of the league in OT the last 2 games. They needed a gift to beat Denver, a gift from Favre to beat them.

They got shut out at home vs a banged up Packers team
Is it unreasonalble to think they dont cover in this game?

I am not betting the Texans ever but do I need to be a homer dick to comment on the Jets?

David "friggin" Garrard went 24-31 for over 300 yrd and 2 TDs against HOU's defense. Need I say more?

Then again NE got blown out by CLE only to beat a good PIT squad the following week on the road.

That's the NFL for you.

Everyone has shredded Houston's D.  They have a young secondary, slow linebackers and their front four has only 1 decent player (Mario Williams).  If they don't outscore you, they don't beat you.  When you can only win 1 way in the NFL, you won't win many games.

However...

Jets have had a lot of things go there way to win games let alone cover this year.  Jets covered last week because the Browns forgot how to tackle.  Now they are being asked to cover 6 or more for the 3rd time this year.  They are 0-2 ATS when trying to cover 6 or more.  Food for thought

NJDevils, I have been a Jets fan for 38 years. Missed the Super Bowl because I was an asshole and would rather go hang out.  This is really a season that we Jets fans watched other teams experience.  Do you understand how long we haven't won anything?

 Just try enjoying the football season, and bet the Jets Sunday because I'll be out there.
