yeah it's going to be a short career... back and knees... kinda sad but the nature of the beast... he'll probably go through one or two major surgeries and then give a comeback a go...

I was quick draw McGraw with this thread. I thought Watt fukked up his back again. Not that a fukked up back and torn ACL makes things any better. Too bad. Hes a great football player and one of the good guys in sports.

In other news.....has anyone heard the reasoning behind why the Browns went for it on 4th and goal from the 4 instead of kicking a game tying fg? I about shitt my drawers when I saw the highlights. Only in Cleveland do they pull some shitt like that.

Amd, 

Gonzalez missed two FG's earlier. But they were from 52 and 39. This FG would have been a 22 yarder. And Jackson decides not to trust him and tie the game for a team that is 1-22 in their last 23.

So you think, well, ok, the kicker was missing everything. 

Except that's not a good reason either. 

Because in the first, inside the 5 AGAIN, they tried a run play which resulted in a fumble recovered by the Jets.

Then in the second, inside the 5 YES AGAIN, they tried a pass play, which was intercepted and returned for some 40 yards.

So they were failing on all fronts. But of all the fronts they failed on, a 22 yarder was the least likely thing they'd fail on.

And of course, they used their three time outs before the two minute warning so they couldn't even pin the jets deep down 14-17.

Amazing incompetence.
