What's up everyone!! Successful season last year, gotta get ride back on it and kick some ass again. My overall season goal is 63% wins. Let's get to it!!
Dallas Cowboys -5
The Cowboys certainly lost a lot more than they gained in the offseason, however if there is ever a time to take them, it's early in the season. They have won the last two opening games with Tony Romo as the starter. Both games they were favored by a little under a touchdown. Going a little bit further, the Bucs have a new coach, new coordinator, new quarterback, new running back. There has to be a learning curve. There's always questions about Dallas and whether they will step up, they usually do in Week 1, then get the inflated line for Week 2.

One of the better games of the day here. Which surprise team from last year will step up and continue that success? In my mind, it's the Falcons time to shine. They picked up exactly what Matt Ryan needed, a go-to-guy. Tony Gonzalez will give Ryan that little bit of a safety blanket. Their defense isn't as great as it could be, but the Falcons should roll to a nice win at home to start the season. They are very good in Week 1.

They beat the Panthers. Won the last four meetings fairly easily, and with their loaded up offense this year, I don't see that changing too much. The Panthers have a nice team, but their defense continues to wilt away from what it was three or four years ago. Eagles get a good road victory to start the season.

Carolina too tough at home, returning all offensive starters. Too tough to call.
New York Jets vs. Houston Texans UNDER 44
These are two teams that historically start very slow on the offensive side. Add in the fact that the Jets have a rookie quarterback and they lost Laveranues Coles in the offseason, and there will be a struggle to put up points. The Texans have a nice offense, but the Jets are one of the best defenses in the league, especially now bringing in Rex Ryan. I don't see that many points being put up here today

Waited patiently for the line to go down...I think this is as far as it will go. The Hawks greatly improved their defense, they will be flying all around the place. The Rams also don't really have any offense to speak of. Seattle has won and covered the past two years, and that should continue

SAINTS ML?!?!??!?! At what price??? -1000??? The Saints are not Roger Federer and Detroit will win a game this year...also many returning starters have had an ENTIRE OFFSEASON to suffer the indignity of 0-16!!!

I agree scal...it was actually at -800. But what I usually do is throw my "best" plays of the day in with a relatively easy ML pick. Boosts up the value a little bit.

I know what your doing yes...but for $5 the Saints MUST make the Lions go 0-18 going back to '07...shaky IMO...Lions almost won at Indy late last year..if anything...i'd take the $5 and just plop it on the Detroit ML...they are not going 0-32
