Although some players are gone, the core of both teams remains the same . Eagles had a 10 point lead at the half and their special teams gave up some big plays to KC in the 2nd half. The one thing that was evident to me is this. I find it hard to believe the Eagles can possibly lose this game replacing Boston Scott with Saquon Barkley.
Eagles actually played well enough to win this game only to lose on a late fg 38-35 as most of you well know.
Thoughts?

Yeah eagles are clearly better and chiefs the same or worse. I guess coaching and “refs” is what people think can beat the eagles. But the eagles may be good enough to leave any room for anything else.

Pretty competitive game, KC got a defensive TD out of Hurts' fumble in the 1st half.
This time Philly is ranked #1 in this postseason (three games) with +10 Turnover (T/O) ratio. Granted KC just turns over once from Mchomes, but Chiefs still have -1 T/O ratio in this postseason. This may or may not be significant in this Super Bowl, but I'll take T/O ratio +10 over -1.

He is gonna have to throw the ball. Shaquan isn't going to get his. Chiefs held Christain mcaffry to 88 yards. Shaquan might like his new home in Philly playing turds like redskins 30th in rushing yards. Cowboys 27th in rushing yards and giants who clock in at 29th... Eagles line is banged up to say the least chiefs penetrantion ALL NIGHT LONG BAY BAY.

chiefs now have the knowledge and experience that comes with winning the last two SB. That has some value.

Yeah that Hurts fumble returned for a td cost them a 17 point lead at the half.
They were dominating that football game and had all the momentum going into halftime [although they settled for 3 points late.] 2nd half, completely different game Eagles defense could not get off the field. Not as aggressive in the second half.

One things for a certain. Eagles gotta play mistake free football. Hurts played a great game but that turnover put a damper on what was an otherwise great performance
Sip on that plus money honey!

this eagles team is not better than the last sb one. that team was awesome. 2 blowouts in the playoffs. 14-3 with mile sanders at rb. This team could have lost to the rams at home

the last Philly Superbowl team from a few years ago played the Giants and then knocked out Brock. That niners game wouldn't have been a blowout as they had no backup QB
I wouldnt rank that Philly team better than this seasons

Most fumbles result in a mad scramble for the ball within a pile of players. Nick Bolton was SO lucky to have the ball bounce right into his hands and he didn't even have to break stride. That Fumble 6 was a fluke and probably won't be repeated this year.
