Hi fellow handicappers this is my first time posting this year as I was doing an experiment this year with overtime games...Yes Overtime games.
Let me just start by saying this is the first time in decades where I have been stress free from gambling on the NFL and I am loving it!
My plays every single week from week one of the regular season was to take every single game on the weekly pro football schedule and to place a $10.00 wager on every game to end in a tie at the end of regulation and here is my results with one week remaining.
with seventeen weeks past in our NFL season with one week remaining their has been seventeen overtime games with only three weeks of no overtime games.
weeks (3-7-14 no overtime games) their has been two weeks with two overtime games (10 and 12) and one week with three overtime games (Week 15) with weeks 1-2-4-5-6-8-9-11-13-16-17 having one overtime game)
Each Game ranges from a minimum of 13-1 to a whopping 20-1 depending on matchups and lines having NO implications on the odds whatsoever in most cases/games
in example this past week 17 a spread of 4.5 Saints/Eagles or a spread of 6.5 (Cardinals/Falcons) were thirteen to one and a spread of 1 in the Baltimore/Pittsburgh or a spread of 3.5 Panthers/Bucs whom were both given at sixteen to one. (The Baltimore game almost went into overtime as well but Baltimore got intercepted going for a game tying field goal to send into overtime)
I am currently up a plus $320.00 at this moment plus have all of my starting season bankroll all intact
you could be up $3200.00 if you were a $100.00 player but you would be risking 1400-1600 per week to do so and is to rich for me so I can NOT and will NOT do it.
Best part of it all is I give two shits who wins or covers and check scores late in the games to see where it's headed and if it heads into overtime my week is paid for be it twenty to thirty dollars most times and if I get a double whammy of two games or more for the week heading to overtime now that is indeed very desirable.
I will play all games for $10.00 this final week with a layout of $160.00 based on my $10.00 each game play and hope to nail one overtime to carry on with some additional cash heading into the playoffs.
With six playoff playoff games in the wild card I will raise the ante to 25.00 per game and keeping me within my weekly 150.00 -160.00 cap with the hopes of just one game hitting OT for me for a healthy plus money.
Super bowl? Yeah Ill be on it do you remember last year gentleman? a hundred would of popped you out a cool 1500+
Moral of this write up? Gambling is a very tough proposition and has destroyed many with its weekly tangibles so why be on pins and needles every week when you can be stress free and hope for.....Overtime!!
