KC Line Still -3 = Bad News For Chiefs

Once Mahhaomes was confirmed cleared, the line went essential moved 5 cents from KC -3 -110 to -3 -115, which is where it has stayed. I would have bet the line would have moved to -4 and beyond.

This line is 1-2 points short thru the most important number. Projections last week had this line at 4/5. The current line says it all.

Packers are already in the SB. Does it appear they will be playing the Bills now?

My book has it at -3 @ 125

It will go up close to game time, it's the 2nd game. Joe Public doesn't bet that early especially with the other game on first they're gonna wait.

The line movement police around here crack me up....they always list a number like it is the end all be all number out there.... there are 10+ Vegas books and multiple offshore books that ALL had KC -3.5 as soon as the Mahomes news was confirmed.... those hooks were all gone within 30 minutes.  DK is only book I know of out there still hanging the hook for Bills backers.

Agree 100%. Been saying this all week. Vegas originally opened this line at PK. Tells you everything you need to know. Mahomes has won 25 of his last 26 games & they're the defending Super Bowl Champs, and only laying 3 to Buffalo at home? A team that's inexperienced in this spot? And they were laying -5.5 at Buffalo earlier in the year...

Color me "shocked" the KC fan above disagrees.  

Vegas knows Buffalo is the better team. They're begging for KC action. Josh Allen is somehow still underrated right now & having John Brown back and healthy for basically the first time all year is huge for this team.

The linesmakers set a line in the sand. There job is to get as close to the winning/losing margin and total of the game as possible. That is all.  Its up the bettor to be on the correct sides of those lines.  PERIOD!

Last time I checked KC hasn't covered a spread in 9 straight games.  THEY WON 8 OF THOSE 9 (LAST GAME OF THE SEASON THEY SAT THEIR STARS).  The team lost 2 games all season.  The Bills are loaded and are a great team.  I think KC will come out with a major chip on their shoulders to remind everyone who the defending Super Bowl Champs are.  Never ever underestimate the hearts of a champion. I like Mahomes experience here and Andy Reids experience to be the Xfactor.  As well as if KC gets Clyde their RB back for this game. Kelce top 5 greatest Tight End of all time, Tyreke Hill, Watkins..

Keep doubting the Champs, they are still the Champs until someone knocks them out.  

Bills are a worthy opponent and anything can happen.  But KC ML is the correct play in my humble opinion.   The linesmakers aren't putting the line at-7, -7.5 because they know Bills money will pour in and take the points.  They set the line at -3 and expect a hard fought battle.  Probably comes down to 3-6 point margin of victory.  KC ML for me.

GB goes from -6.5 to -7 and wins by 14

Cle goes from 10 to 8 and covers vs KC

LAR goes from 4.5 to 3 vs SEA and wins

Skins go from 10.5 to 8.5 vs TB and cover

Last year GB goes from 7 to 8 vs SF and loses cover

2018 both road dogs in conf champ were +3, which was suspiciously low by at least the hook, if not 1+ points. NE and LAR win SU

2016 ATL goes from -4.5 to -6.5 vs GB and wins blowout

2015 Denver goes from 3.5 to 3 vs NE and wins SU

2015 Denver goes from 6 to 4 vs CAR and wins SU

I mentioned DK because they are (were earlier) the only book to still have the hook on the 3 (hook means the .5 they added to the 3 points)  I can say it again slower if you'd like.... Im on KC. I think the reason for the line shift impasse is that even when he was confirmed, we do not know how that foot injury is and how much it may limit Mahomes. 

I think matchupwise KC poses a horrendous matchup for the Bills and that is why I bet it. But if I did not think that way and was doubting who to bet just for the action, I would be betting Buffalo just bc of that. Mahomes mobility may be limited and he wasnt able to practice like you would like before an AFC Champ
