I say play of the year because all these lions fans thinking they will come into Kc and win.. The starters didn't even play in pre season. No Goff and most of the defense. I mean who the hell walks onto a field and plays perfect from the Jump. no one.. I've been gambling for 40 years. I seen it all. Last year Aaron Judge hit 62 homers everyone saying he will hit a ton again this year. what happened ? The entire team sucks and one of the highest payrolls in sports. So lets be real this is a business and Hype is not involved. The lions have not won the division in over 15 years what makes people think they will Ball now with a B rated Quarterback and a shity ass Defense.. I am not wrong Lions lose tonight and look really bad..

Too not to   I do disagree with many posters about a first game of the season not being able to be a GOY  If you feel strongly enough about it and call it that so be it I do disagree with the posters less than even half ass capping of the game though

I agree the Lions not playing starters all preseason is stupid. 

Disagree with your assessment of the Lions. They have quite a few advantages in this game, primarily the OL against a pass rush that’s shown to be bottom 10 in the league without Chris Jones. They’re also poor up the middle so I’d expect the Lions to run it effectively and for Goff to pick the KC D apart with ample time to throw. 

KC has a great OL and obviously an elite QB. Think they too will run it well with Pacheco. Quite a few unknowns as this is the first time in forever without Hill and Kelce. Mahomes will probably do some damage with his legs too, but idk Lions added some nice pieces to a D that showed significant statistical improvement through the end of last season. 

Think this will end up being a very good football game thst could go either way. Who does Mahomes even trust throwing to tonight? Lots of unproven guys imo.

Also 54% bets on KC so hardly everyone on Detroit
