Wow, that would be a huge drop off, but they play in the worst division that their is, so anything can happen
The 49ers have had no problem winning vs Arizona, thier problem is the rest of the league. Had they held on to beat the Vikes and handled Seattle in BOTH games they might have made the playoffs last season. The Niners are close, but still have serious flaws they need to adress.
Warner may be a nice guy to his followers but to me he is NOT a HOF'er. Make a espn movie about his life=yes, call him an elite HOF'er=No Way. The guy was a BACK up on all three NFL Teams he made the roster on. Without some of the best receivers in the league and Marshall Faulk, he would not have made much noise. Sure he was hot during two seasons with the Rams and took a NINE-7 team to the playoffs in AZ, but does that deserve HOF status??? I don't think so. If that's the case then Eli Manning should also go in for his game vs NE in the SB.
Warner was not consistant enough for the HOF. He was HOT or COLD. He never carried a team beyond what the team had potential to already do. Sell him a ticket to get into the HOF, don't give him a jacket.
