As a long-time Raider fan, I was hoping and hoping for him. It's definitely a start in the right direction.

I Like Pete Carroll, but the oldest coach in NFL history scares me a bit.

That's a good hire, his enthusiasm was always top notch. We need more competition from the AFC West. 3 Super Bowl winning coaches in one division and another that's been there 

He took the job because he missed Jim Harbaugh! His career was never the same after Harbaugh left SF. He gets his juices going.

 Raider Nation For Life. His ability to evaluate talent is a huge plus for my Raiders. This is the kind of hire we needed. Let him build the foundation, then pass the torch. Will be interesting to see how Pete and the new GM figure out the QB situation. Unload a ton of picks to move up, or continue to build the roster?

Lol... That's a very interesting take.  

This job "is" a complete rebuild...  Pete doesn't have much to work with on this club, most importantly at the QB position w/ little potential to improve much via this year's NFL Draft it would appear...  so who does he go get ?  

This is going to be a tough slog for Carroll ..  And quite frankly, for anybody that took this job. 

All they need is Russel Wilson at the helm. This will complete Raiders 2025

 PC will make them competitive by mid-season. I heard one rumor of them going after Darnold.

He should try to recruit Russell Wilson to make them faders team more exciting.  Lynch retirement but I just saw him the other day n he's still healthy enough to play.  Bring him back too.  Vegas is only 1 hr flight to Tracy California to see his Mama.  Yeah, his mom likes to go bet $5 at a local card room.  Her boyfriend looks young n her bodyguard.  They likes to show up after midnight to stay under the radar.  She looks exactly like her son n her wind breaker nike outfit were probably gifts from sponsorship by Nike.

 The only worse idea then bringing Russ back to reunite with PC,  is bringing Devontae Adams back to the Raiders... and his sidekick Aaron Rodgers with him.  

AFC gonna be even tougher as dawgshit next season except the South lol. 

Mike Vrabel coming back to the fold as well. AFC West and East should get a boost

On the old side don't think he will make 3 years certainly not the optional 4th.
