the colts have had a magical season, a great turn around and have drawn more inspiration from chuck pagano than i think i've ever seen a team do for as long as they have. this could quite possibly be one of the most emotional games of our recent time. Between Pagano and Lewis, both teams will be
charged up, and the intensity should be amazing to watch. Hard hits, big
plays and a noisy crowd figure to define this matchup, which also
features Ravens offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell facing the team he
once coached to a Super Bowl appearance before being fired last year by the colts. This might be the first time the colts are playing against a team that will be playing with some emotion of their own. While i'm not sure as to the actual impact Lewis will have on the field, having his leadership will be key in a playoff game. But he feels good, and he usually speaks the truth - "I just think where I have it now, 100 percent,"
Lewis said. "I can't tell you there is no weakness in it. I can't tell
you if I go out there, I might do this, I might do that. I don't think I
would put myself, as well as my teammates, in that position. Have I
played hurt before? Absolutely. With this injury, because of what I do
so much, I don't think I would take that chance. ... I feel good. I feel
healthy. I feel great, actually." - Although he ranks 31st in completion percentage in
the NFL and 26th in passer rating (76.5), Luck is on a roll recently
with five touchdowns and no interceptions in the Colts' last three
games. Luck hasn't had his best games on the road and with the intensity ratcheted up quite a bit for this playoff game, i would expect any rookie to make some mistakes, on the road, in the playoffs, i don'[t care who you are or what you've done. The Colts' defense has proven to be extremely
vulnerable against the run, allowing running backs to run roughshod over
them this season. They're allowing 137.5 yards on the ground per game, ranking 29th in the NFL. Plagued by several injuries and trying to stop offenses with an
undersized front seven, the Colts gave up 352 rushing yards against the
Kansas City Chiefs. Now that Cam Cameron is gone, i would expect Rice to get his fair share of touches. The Colts surrendered 2,200 rushing yards during
the regular season, allowing an average of 5.1 yards per rush. This
could be a major advantage for a Ravens running game that ranks 11th in
the NFL and is averaging 118.8 yards per game on the ground. OVerall the colts have really struggled to stop the run all season long and in the playoffs, stopping the run is paramount. When it comes down to it, the experience factor is most certainly on the side of the ravens, holding on to and taking care of the ball between flacco, rice, bolden is advantage over luck, ballard, etc..wow, bruce arians has been sent to the hospital as i type this and will not be there, damn. hope he's ok. Not having Arians in Luck's ear for the game can't be helpful. I almost dare say that it seems that the ravens are being looked as old, slow and just not your daddy's ravens and the colts are flying high, riding this wave of emotion and playing at such a high level and to be catching a td seems almost like a gift. I've never seen a gift from the man. i'm laying'em but i'm buying a point down to 6 b/c I have a point buying addiction and taking the over.

what a game, i'm probably as excited to watch this game as just about any. seems like anything you can say about Griffin you can say about Wilson and anything you can say about Lynch you can say about Morris j- except Lynch has gone beast mode in the playoffs before. I mean was there anyone hotter than Wash down the stretch? but i struggle to see where the signature win is besides and OT win against Balt which still has griffin at less than 100%. none of the other wins were against a playoff team and besides the minnesota win, they are the only 2 playoff teams wash beat. giants eagles and cowboys were shells of themselves and injured so the division wasn't all that tough..GB, NE, SF, MInn were all victims of seattle, agreed at home, but they are better on the road this year and their losses on the road were close. I really feel as though as much fun as this redskins ride is, how good griffin has been, how haslett has rally'd this skins D, i just feel like Wilson has been just as good and Seattle has a much better defense. Not to mention the fact that Wash put quite a bit of energy in to that season ending dallas win to get in the playoffs and surely took a bit out of them. I also like the fact that Mebane might be going against a backup. Kory Lichtensteiger sprained his ankle midway through the Redskins’ division-clinching victory and has kept him out of practice all week. he's been key to protecting that inside from being blown up and that is how you get to the read option, blow up the inside. Josh Lerebius better tie his shoes extra tight tonight.

Love to see you on the Seahawks......GL
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.
