I guess I am one of the few that likes the Ravens here. Yeah, I see the situational spot for the Boys, but just don't like them here. The Ravens have played poorly (despite winning) in their last two games. I have a feeling the offense gets back on track and puts up a performance similar to what they did against Cincy in week one.

Flacco has many targets and Baltimore secondary lacks some speed. I remember R.Lewis saying he dropped thirty lbs to keep up with the younger faster players. I smell a shootout. Over is the play.

I think the Cowboys play to their competition. Teams they should dominate on paper they seem to struggle against. Teams that you'd think they struggle against, they seem to focus and get it done. They had time to prepare for the Giants and played amazing football. They have time to prepare for the Ravens, and honestly who overlooks the Ravens at home?
The Cowboys will be rested and focused. Cowboys +3.5 for me.

Ravens w/ Flaco at home vs non-division opponent 16-5 ATS (0-1 this yr). Including at least two wins that I remember seeing when the line was exactly -3.5. It seems like Balt has more trouble ATS at home vs division opponents.

League capper - I used to surf salt creek growing up in LN. Anyhow - like the boys getting pts but dal have screwed me over 2-1 times TY. I am gonna sit back and see how this plays out. If dal covers, I am on the texans and vice versa.

Dallas seems like a good situational play...blown out in last, Romo stunk, getting rest, and Balt. 3 consecutive ATS losses in a row; if KC wasn't garbage they lose last week. What's not to like really?
What part of Cali are you from Capper? I'm real close to Long Beach St., your threads are always a nice read.

The last few games the teams got to Romo, this week won't be the same story. Balt has a soft pass defense. The key to the game would be to stop Ray Rice, but Joe Flacco is trying to earn a big contract so don't need to worry about that.
This game ends up 31-24 for the Boys.

Hey guys, haven't had as much time as I'd like to bet football but popped in to covers today and read this thread. Great insight from a lot of different angles. Definitely makes me want to take a closer look at this game and try to figure out a play.

This is the spot for Dallas to cover or win. Baltimore is not what they appear to be. Dallas Defense will match up well here and I think Dallas gets the W here on the road.

Much respect to your write-ups LC and capping skills. Don't understand why all the love for the boys in this spot. Granted they played well in week 1 against the Giants but they basically had the ENTIRE OFF SEASON to prepare for a revenge game against a divisional rival who knocked them out of the playoffs last season. What else have they done this season? They got smoked in Seattle and barely get by Tampa bay...this is the team that's going to knock of the ravens??
Romo is a sub .500 quarterback on the road and and the Ravens have lost all of... count it....1 home game since 2010. I get all the reasons why the cowgirls will cover - embarrassed on MNF, bye week, got tore up Brady in week 4...but c'mon Romo isn't anywhere close to Brady in terms of clutch QB play.
