Finding an edge in sports betting is hard enough as it is, but limiting yourself to 1-3 sportsbooks makes it almost impossible. In the modern age of sports betting, this shouldn’t be an excuse when plenty of options are available to you if you live within a regulated state/province. Here are 4 reasons why you should add more books to your portfolio:
1. Odds shopping 2. Odds offerings 3. Bonuses and boosts 4. Deposits, withdrawals, and cash-outs
Unique features can also be a key criterion when looking for a new sportsbook to fill the void of your current offering. There’s still a lot of competition for market dominance, leading to some unique value props. These are 6 of the best sportsbook features available right now:
1. Live Betting and extensive prop offerings at bet365 2. Early markets and weekly niche leader markets at DraftKings 3. Alternative Under prop lines at BetRivers 4. BetMGM’s $1,500 Bonus Bets offer 5. Pinnacle’s no-nonsense model with better odds and lower margins 6. Caesars remains the only sportsbook to stream NFL games

I’m in Houston. Would it make sense for me to do an online sports book, or would it make more sense just to drive to Lake Charles,Louisiana . I believe there are 3 brick and mortar places to bet legally there.

@MB67 They're all sportsbooks at the end of the day, but at least regulated books have a safety net of being fined if they step out of line.
Draft Kings cuts off sharp bettors and blames it on the geo location.
The best books are offshore, Pinacle or if in the US Heritage or YouWager.
FD, MGM, DK and all the others offer odds that rip the bettor off, it's impossible to make money over the long run.
plus all the US book are purchasing websites and forums and squashing and deleting any talk or links of better offshore books(there are many). They don't want the US public to know, they don't want the public to even see the odds being offered.
US based books make payment and withdrawals a lot easier, I'll give you that. But everything else is extremely limited. And again, the odds offered are a crime.
I'm laying -105 in NFL and getting .10 lines in MLB. You ain't getting that at the US based sportsbook, not sure why anyone would play there unless you are a casual bettor looking for fun and to throw away money.
The pen is mightier than the pigs

I have 4 books. But Pinny is always the best on MLB sides. I don’t even bother to check the others. For totals and props that’s another thing, but I rarely bet those.

I play , & have for 10 or 15 years, at BetUs .Fair lines , immediate payout. match $ for $ on initial deposit & if you bet enough will match any deposit dollar for dollar . Only drawback for me was it cost me $55 to take out $3000 because i dont do Crypto. 0 for Crypto. I have a Caesers account & one w/Fanduel , & i usually play BetUs. also good prop bets.

I dont know the size of your wagers , but Keep in mind your winnings will be reported to the IRS , ala 1099 , or so I've been told.

Have any of you heard of Betopenly. It's a legal site(exceptions HI, ID,NJ,CO) It works like a P2P. People post their bets and other people except them. The site holds the $ and pays it out. The key ingredient is no juice. The site takes a tiny amount, I think it's like 1% from the bet creator but I'm not sure, It's so little that I never notice.
A friend of mine has been using it for a year and no problem or charge for payout, deposits are cheapest with crypto. You can't always find the bet you want and sometimes but not too often no one takes a bet you create, a lot of the bet creators buy points so you'll see some # off with + $
No promos. no bonuses no BS and NO Juice. I love it and I can play NCAA in OR which the crappy exclusive Draftkings can't offer.. If it sounds like I'm pumping, you're somewhat right, the more people on it the more bets that are available, so yeah. Check it out, No juice is like a unicorn, it's a gamblers dream and you've seen how juiced the US legal books are, unplayable, which is why they offer so many bonuses.
I will say the app could be a little better
I was on here a long time ago but haven't posted in so long that covers forgot me. Who wants to argue with idiots on the internet
