The Niners outgained the Ravens by over a hundred yards. They had more yards per play. There was some bad turnovers and penalties. Honestly the Niners beat themselves more so than the Ravens beating the Niners. Bad games happen. They made too many mistakes.
All this talk about how the Ravens killed the 49ers just display nothing but ignorance. The Niners outpassed and outrushed the Ravens, some super costly turnovers and penalties.
They lost. No excuses. But people don't seem to understand what domination is. All Im saying.

Jim… I did not watch the game. Was just score board watching and Covers watching. U are 100% correct. 49ers were gashing that Ravens D in the 1st quarter. 150 yards passing. Chunk Plays after chunk plays.. Purdy was unlucky and the ravens were lucky. 3 fluky INt’s that gave the Ravens short fields. If they play again. U will not see them get 4 INT’s and all those short fields. The 1st INT was the only bad INT by Purdy. It was the Ravens night but everything went there way. They also had no turnovers.
Don’t worry my Dolphins will lay the smack down on Lamar and the Ravens this week and bring them back down to earth.

I 100% disagree with what you said. You saw Trent Williams, and Brock Purdy holding their helmets on the sidelines in the 4th quarter. 49ers got their asses kicked. They got physically dominated and got their shit beat. It happens. It’s a regular season game. They made the 49ers become a 1 dimensional team quick in the second half and that’s not what they’re. They need to run the ball, and play from ahead. They aren’t equipped from playing from behind. Brock Purdy is a bus driver. You don’t want this guy tossing the ball a ton from 2 scores down or things spiral quickly. Ravens beat the shit out of them. Tip your cap and move on. You also have to remember John Harbaugh is a MUCH better coach than Kyle Shanahan. That isn’t even up for debate.

Wrong.. if they play again.. U really think the ravens will get 2 tipped INT’s that 8/10 times fall to the ground or an INT off Purdy’s arm being hit and it goes directly to the DB. They were just unlucky and sometime the ball bounces that way and it did for the Ravens. They will not get 5 INT’s and not turn the ball over if they play again. If those fluky INT’s fell to the ground.. it’s a whole different ball game. U cant on those INT’s week in and week out. So the ravens get 3-4 INT’s every game? I bet they average like 1 INt a game at best prior to the 49ers game. Look it up. It’s Variance and it would not happen again if they played again.
it’s like the Raiders putting up 63 on the Chargers. I bet if they play again next week Raiders would not even put up 28 points. It was fluky. Just like the 3 of the 4 INT’s by Purdy.

I said earlier in another thread I would lean taking 49ers over Ravens if they meet again in the SB. But you make your own luck. 49ers got luck by Lamar tripping over his dick for 20 yards to start the game for a safety, couldn’t capitalize on that. Ravens took them out of their game play. 49ers have a certain style of play that needs to be played at and when it tips they have zero ability to adjust. That’s why every loss they’ve had in last calendar year dating to Eagles playoff game when they got the shit kicked out of them then. You need to punch them in the nose and they can’t punch back. They’re a very physical football team and they usually push most teams around. But when they started getting pushed around they wilt. See Browns game this year when they talked shit to them pregame and then came out and got teeth kicked in and Trent Williams and Co left hurt in that one as well. There’s a certain theme here. And Baltimore played to that. Credit them. But I do think 49ers are a more talented football team. We’ll see what happens if they meet again. My guess is they don’t.

But you’re also admitting to not watching the game and then telling someone they’re “wrong” for expressing their opinion watching every snap of the game, while you watched the box score. So got it. You don’t know anything about this game or how it was actually played.

I did not watch the game live. When I scoreboard watch or covers watch I do not see the context of the game. I thought all 4 of Purdy’s INT’s were bad INT’s. I did rewatch the highlights and all the INT’s. And after It changed my view of the game and how unlucky the INT's were. Ravens won fair and square and were the better team that night and made the plays.

Whiners still a force to be wrecking with. That is why they are -13.5 opening at Washington this weekend and that with injuries on their roster. Over or under -13.5 had they beaten them dirty criminal birds?

I am convinced that a lot of my Covers' brothers get either stoned or juiced up before kickoff. If they do watch the game at all, it is through the lens of a stoned mind.

Those INTs may have been flukey, but it was the pressure from the ravens' d-line that caused them to begin with. The niners could not handle that defense, which is the reason people, and especially the talking heads, are saying they got dominated. The flip side of it, as others have noted, is that SF was playing from behind and got too 1-dimensional; and I agree with that. If there is a "next time", I wouldn't be surprised to see SF come out with a better game plan, and better pass protection.

In "next time", San Francisco also needs to come out with a much better plan to matchup physical dominance of both offensive as well as defensive lines from Baltimore. Brock Purdy had the QB rating of whopping 42.6 under pressure in this game.

I agree Jimmy, when you win a game a team should outgain it's opp in yards if the team does not, then it is not a good indicator going forward. A team can get away with this in regular season sometimes but not once the playoffs arrive and they face another very good team.
If you look at all-important ave per pass Ravens did win 6.5 to 6.2 but Darnold threw about 1/3 of all passes and he brought the ave way down with his 5.8 ave, compare that to Purdy's 8 and Lamar was 7.2 both QB's sacked twice but Lamar lost 3 more yards which is meaningless but Purdy won the ave per pass and 9ers won rushing battle.
I will say Purdy did make some bad throws and when you do that bad things can happen but it is still bad luck but some is on Purdy. TO's can be very random.
with about 2 minutes in 1st half Purdy ave like 9 yards per pass to Lamars 4.4, that is domination , 9ers were carving up Ravens defense and only down 4 after losing TO battle 3-0.

They lost. why are you still talking about this?
Can't wait for your next play cause I'm double fading...you're head ain't right, right now...

Crazy how bad these 49er fans are embarrassing themselves on Twitter by refusing to admit the ravens were the better team on the night. I have never seen a fan base so delusional before.
One dude said…. “Y’all can keep the W. Marlon Humphry is soft.” And posted the play of Deebo bouncing off Marlon and says the play will live forever lmao. A 3 yard gain. Yeah keep the W hahaha and the Lamar Jackson play making the best linebacker in football, Fred Werner, look silly af won’t live forever? Pointed at his bitch ass…. “Gotchu.” Hilarious bro was sprinting full speed to the sidelines thinking Lamar was going out of bounds like everyone else….this guy is not everyone else, Fred. Nick Bosa didn’t even want to rush because he was too afraid to get caught out of position. They were completely perplexed.

One thing is for sure…this will not be a Super Bowl rematch. If the ravens make it, San Fran won’t. If San Fran make it…the ravens won’t. And neither KC or the Eagles will make it back.

Weeks before KC and Eagles looked like shit I was saying they won’t be in the superbowl. That I have always been 1000000% confident in. Neither of them will make it back.
Ravens or SF could make it but they won’t be playing each other. Yes I’m willing to bet just about anything on those scenarios not happening. I don’t even think KC or Philly will make their conference title games…if they do fade fade fade.

The 49ers played a horrible game, out played and out coached. The only thing that matters is the scoreboard. They were down 21 pts for a long time before they scored in garbage time and that's when the yards you believe mattered happened.
Purdy played the worst game of his career because of the Ravens defense. 4 ints and another was dropped.
I watched it again last night, it looked worse than live. I don't think SF has an answer to deal with Lamar. He made them look silly trying to catch him. SF D-line was dominated by Ravens O-line.
I pray they play again in SB and SF is favored. How can you say it's ignorance when supposedly the best team in NFL was down 21 pts at home in front of 27M viewers?
You just can't believe your own eyes...
