Doesn't really surprise me that the NFL, ESPN, and most media outlets are out for Brady's blood.  The bottom line is that there are a lot of haters out there......like him or not, Brady is the definition of excellence at the QB position.  He reminds about 28 other teams in the league just how lacking they are in the QB department, and just how far away from being a champion they really are.

The Superbowl rings, the Supermodel wife, and of course the money, breed a lot of discontent among his peers. Seriously.....a season long suspension because of some "under inflated" footballs?

Don't forget about just how funny and ironic Jamies Winston's crab-leg draft celebration dinner was...... maybe we could get Phil Simms to comment on the true "spirit" of competition, and how Brady has tainted the entire league with his supposed digressions.

Phil Simms handed the ball off 50 times a game.....I am not sure he is qualified to comment on the actual throwing of a football; under-inflated or not.

I listened to a bit of ESPN radio today.....and quickly remembered why I quit doing that.

One of the shows  played a rant by some asss named "maddog" russo on the subject of Brady. Garbage.

There is no way that a handicapper should ever listen to the sporting media about anything that remotely pertains to the sport in which he/she is placing wagers.

One other thing about "deflate-gate"......the sports radio crowd is pretty much implying that Brady has been doing this for years......doesn't the referee spot the football before every offensive play???? IF the referee cannot tell the difference from an underinflated football and a properly inflated football with his bare hand, during each and every game, then the rule falls under the "unenforceable" category, and is better defined as bulllshittt.

This one falls on the refs...if they choose to scrutinize the ball then that is there business....if they let it go, then so be it......but to commission a 246 page "report" looking into possible tampering with footballs just reeks of government intervention. I am curious to really know whom pushes Goodell to do stuff like this........

The Patriots and Kraft want you to believe that 31 teams are sinners and they're the only saints. They want the world to believe their poop smells like potpourri. It is definitely all about publicity for the NFL.    Now the Brady thing will keep the NFL in the daily news until the preseason starts. Yes, they actually talking about 2 pound of hot AIR per square inch for 3 months, LOL.

Montana was the greatest ever. No question about it......the 49ers in the 80's changed the game from 3 yards in a cloud of dust, to 5-8 yards on first down via ball control passing.  No one has been as clutch as Joe was everytime the chips were down.

Still though, the NFL got their man. 4 games, draft picks and cash.  I will bet that even without the draft picks next year, the Patriots will still draft better than the Buccanneers (whom will likely have another top 5 draft choice).

Finjerry- How much money have you lost betting against the Patriots over the years? Maybe don't flush your rent fading the Pats.........just a thought.

Absolutely. The hit that Jim Burt put on Montana that broke Joe's back would likely get a player thrown out of the league in 2015.

Montana was as good as it gets....even with the Chiefs under Schottenheimer Joe managed to get the team to the AFC championship game (loss @ Buffalo).

Montana was the greatest ever.
