Not sure what you are trying to say.. this game could very easily come down to a FG its not going to be a blowout or a NYG win one way or the other, and Vegas wont lose money one way or the other because theres a 55/45 split on bets anyway.

I'm saying the pointspread difference of -11 or -14' will not matter. If you like the Giants, play the ML. If you like NE, don't be afraid to give 21 points & get a higher payout. The game will go one way or the other in my opinion, but -11 or -14' will not matter.

There are only 6 times (I may be off by one either way) where the point spread has mattered in the SB. 4 of those have occured in the last ten or so years. Parity and salary cap probably have something to do with it BUT... I believe the reason you have so many blowouts in the SB is because one team gets behind and starts pressing and the other team pours it on even harder. In the SB you will see the winning team continue to pour it on well into the 4th quarter many times. SB is a different animal. Blowouts do occur quite often whether the dog blows out the fav or vice versa. The Pats have not fared well against the number in their 3 recent SB wins. I had them +14 against the Rams but as favs they have not covered. I actually like them in this game for reasons too many to write here. I smell Pats blowout in this game. Maybe I'll start a thread and list the specific reasons I love them in this spot next week. I'm also curious to see who Vanzack likes in this game. I usually don't post here during the year but hang out a bit during the two weeks leading up the SB. I got thrown in "rehab" last year when I said something to a whining Bears fan.
