So it’s the week before the Super Bowl week. You have been beaten down(most of you) or you were on the right side of one of them gems. You predicted and forecasted. You defied the odds and came out some what ahead or you had both teams since mid October as I did. Probably not but we move forward.
Now, knowing what you know, you dive into your favorite team. Your favorite players and look for what’s a call prop bets.
Well I would like to say let’s all give props to those who deserve it.
Vegas!!!
Every year most people lose on these props and the only winner was the thoughts they had before the game started.
My point is… I would recommend leaving most of them alone.
If you want to win, here is some friendly advise. Leave these props alone!
Vegas has sucked you dry and you just can’t stop gifting them your money.
We all see angles and that’s why we bet. When we realize we are not the Don Juan of prop bets, then we can make money.
It’s a hard truth, but to be honest, do you ever really win at props?
Bottom line is the lower hanging fruit!
When you’re reaching for the fruit you can not get, you miss out on the ones right in front of you.
Maximize your wins this Super Bowl and bet you strongest plays.
Who really cares if you hit the coin toss or knew the Gatorade color. We get sucked into this cycle that we need to pick something that really doesn’t matter in the end.
Do you remember the coin toss 5 years ago? or Do you remember the team you had right or wrong?
Again,
Just trying to help all of you stay focused on winning because that’s what this forum is about and I will be taking my own advise and staying with my winner only!
And I do have the winner, do you?

People like to play props, they're fun bets, they know the odds are against them but I suspect most aren't playing that much money to begin with. Some things are done just purely for fun and if they win, well that's just icing on the cake. Everyone is different and everything is relative.

I'm thinking of firing on a total# of sacks prop, havent my local said he has about about 50 more props to list by this weekend and I'm thinking of firing a couple units on total sacks over. I think it could reach 10 combined. I'd love to get 6 or less. If I can I'm firing for sure.

He also had Pats $ line over Bills in the wild card. got incredibly lucky on bengals after chiefs bizarrely unraveled.
He created several threads telling people they were sheep for betting the Bills and said he was just trying to help them win $ but if they wanted to lose their money, they’d ignore him and take the Bills. Great call GP!
It’s all a pathetic attention grab.
I won my biggest bet of the playoffs on a prop over 1.5 fg’s for Daniel Carlson. Props are great. Have fun and bet lots of props!

Your posts are that of a novice sports gambler who pretends to know what he is talking about ....
Player and game props offer much better value and opportunity to correlate ...Side and total wagering often has much more variance in results ..I could hive you plenty of examples if you like?
Your threads should provide some quality entertainment though ...
Best of luck Brother

2 for 2 on prop bets this playoffs (and regular season as I only started betting in the playoffs): Joe Mixon under 59.5 rushing against the Titans (54); Deebo Samuel over 50.5 yards receiving last week (72, 5 units total). Most props are unbettable and odds favor giveback in the long run... But as is always the case, the only advantage a good bettor has besides intuition and the ability to spot value is SELECTIVITY. Zero percent of gamblers can make money by over-wagering. If you don't strongly feel you found some sort of edge that Vegas overlooked, with whatever metric you use, DON'T BET. Easy concept to understand.
As for the Super Bowl, I really don't see any props I feel supremely confident in currently. The only one I'm kind of thinking about is Cam Akers OVER 62.5 rushing because Cincy has been giving up ground yards in the playoffs. Their secondary has also really tightened up to the point where they were getting coverage sacks/pressure and TOs against Mahomes and his talented receiving core. I think the roadmap for a Rams win in small passing/rushing skew of 55:45 or something like that. They don't want to be throwing the ball 40+ times and risking turnovers. Ball control can win this. If Akers gets 18-20 rushes and 80+ yards, they will have won the SB. But Akers lacks the track record of hitting this total this year, so it's risky.
Fortunately have more time to review this thesis and make sure Akers is healthy. Just some thoughts for now.
GLTA.

Sometimes the bookmakers are just dumb setting the odds. True story: In 2003, I placed a MAX bet on "He Hate Me", the CFL player who briefly played in Vince McMahon's XFL before it went bust after 1 year. Following the league folding, "He Hate Me" (AKA Rod Smart) got picked up by the Carolina Panthers and played in all 16 games - mostly on Special Teams but got a few runs for minimal yardage on the season (49 yards on 20 carries). Anyway, my book, the old Greek.com, set the over/under at 2.5 yards RUSHING for the Big game. I thought NO FUCKING WAY are they going to give this guy a carry, during the biggest game of the season, when he only had 20 during the RS. He might have rushed it once in the playoffs in the lead-up, but can't remember. He had either zero or 1 rushes heading into the Super Bowl that year.
As I expected, "He Hate Me" did not carry the ball in SB XXXVIII. I won $3k
Maybe it was dumb luck, maybe intuition was my ally. But from my POV, even the best modelers miss on a line once in awhile. It's up to us to scour the board and take advantage.

i remember about 10 years ago, there was a poster on here who was at the stadium during the national anthem practice a couple of days before the game and timed it well under the prop bet time. many of us cashed that one easily.
