Thats what I call it.
Mariano Rivera proved to be great but it was Joe Torre who was willing to do what most coaches didn'i..... pitch him more than 1 inning often 2 and trust him.
Call it the Bellichick effect if you want. Just like the Brady sneak led to the Philly push Belichick going for it more on 4th down now leads to this.
It is very hard to stop a really good /elite QB for 4 downs getting 10 yards with all the offensive advantages. It is smart .....very smart to do what some of these coaches now are
